  1. I had to google zakkk wylde to gain any idea of who he was. I will not buy anything with anyone as repulsive as this person involved. What are the creators thinking? Guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Chet Atkins, Leona Boyd, SRV would be instantly purchased!

  2. Say, did anybody realise that bandFuse uses Rock band Icons for its instruments in the menus? Look closely. They match! Wonder if harmonix will be angry about that…

    1. That is REALLY sketchy… I wonder if that's just a placeholder icon, meant to not be serious, or if that's actually in the game. Either way, if I was Harmonix (or Fender, because Rock Band's guitarbass icons are trademarked by them), I'd be pissed.

[You can see them at 0:44 in that video, if nobody noticed]

  3. I got to check this game out at E3. It still has some fine tuning to go through, but I've liked what I seen.

I'm looking forward to the setlist, to seeing musicians actually talk about their work in game, playing through the genre specific career modes, and if I remember right, I think they said that you could upload your playthough of songs with your guitar playing (no matter how bad it is) being played over the song audio.

One nice thing I saw is that songs in the menu will be labeled if they have drop tuning. I know I saw Drop-D and Drop-C listed.

  4. Takesi, That is the truth. I would definitely buy it if you could flip it to oncoming. Otherwise, based on screen shots it looks convoluted and jumbled.

  5. Let see… Barracuda… Jessica… Roundabout… May not be key reasons for purchase as I have these songs in "other" games… However they will make for great comparison points.

I do hope that BF has the option to "flip" the field, ala RS… Otherwise they might lose potential customers who are also RS players.

  6. jed, i agree. i think it looks whack. gh and rb and rs have made the oncoming pretty standard. dont know what bf is doing. maybe we can get used to it.

  7. Am I the only one who thinks the UI is a little repulsive? It's too bad, since everything else about the game looks so damn amazing
