Hello Rocksmith fans!
Today we have a three pack from American Prog/Heavy Metal band, @Queensryche! Although their work has been offered on disc for Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock (Jet City Woman), as a song in the standard GHTV rotation for Guitar Hero Live (Eyes Of A Stranger), and as a DLC for Rock Band 3 (Silent Lucidity), this is the first song pack for the band in a music game!
Two songs come from the incredible Operation: Mindcrime (1988), (I Don’t Believe in Love and Eyes of a Stranger), and to close off the pack off Empire (1990), Jet City Woman!

This is a solid pack. It led me to take a second look at a band I had heretofore not really listened to and the skill level of the guitar work pushes my skills in a couple of areas. Very clean leads and rhythm guitar playing.
I would support an Operation Mindcrime album pack, too.
Great pack. Still full of bold guitar solos just before the artieeesst of the early grunge movement reduced the axe to a dull hatchet of a background instrument.
Is Elison practicing these songs or something? There’s no riff repeater videos yet and that’s kind of unusual. He’s normally early.

Never really liked queensryche, but these songs are definitely worth the pack. Eyes of a stranger is possibly now my favorite to play.
Thanks rocksmith, I enjoyed this pack. Its funny how that the music you enjoy listening to isn’t always the same as the music you enjoy playing and vice versa. And thank you riff repeater for posting the bass play throughs. 🙂
Is it just me or is the tone used on the lead part(where it bounces to the B string) of Eyes of a Stranger really off?
I re-checked my tuning because it sounded so off….
I couldn’t make it through hardly it was so cringe worthy, nails on a chalkboard-ish.
Had someone else listen and they agreed it was pretty bad as well and it seemed to be the tone used on that part.

I have the same issue with little talks. The tone for the trumpet chart sounds off to me. I changed the strings on 2 different guitars and it still sounded weird to me.
Pretty cheesey band but somehow I find myself wanting Eyes Of A Stranger. I suppose cool riffs are cool riffs regardless of where they come from. I don’t think I need a whole pack of this though.

It’s called “negotiation”. Everybody licenses at the right terms.
You don’t know jack shit about licensing, so get off this site. TRR is ruined because of the annoying requesters and DLC complainers.
I know way more about licensing than anybody else on this site, considering that I’m a lawyer who does IP licensing about 60 hours a week. The only thing that’s ruining TRR is dickheads like you who think they own the site and can bully other people off of it. You’re a pathetic little tool.

I’ll be getting this one, but will be hoping for ryche pack 2 and will hope that it acknowledges their earlier material. Will keep looking for Take Hold Of The Flame, The Lady Wore Black, and Queen Of The Ryche!
