Rocksmith Remastered DLC 12/6/2016 – Variety Pack VI

Greetings, Rocksmith fans!

Looks like we’re heading for another week of songs from different artists with Variety Pack VI!

In our previous article we discovered that @thefalloftroy with F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X would make their Rocksmith debut! Additionally over the weekend it was also revealed that Brian Setzer will be returning this week with Stray Cat Strut (which also happened to appear in Guitar Hero On Tour). Next up, another song featured in a music game in 2007 (with Fall of Troy in Guitar Hero III), @DavidBowie’s classic Suffragette City!  Last but not least (as revealed by XBOX AU) we have a song that will make @elisarockdoc very happy, the 90’s hit from @GinBlossoms Hey Jealousy will surely make guitarist and bassists go Green with envy.

Post-hardcore math rock, Rockabilly, Glam-rock proto-punk from the Starman himself, and another dose of the 90s! Now that’s what I call Variety…. Six.

    1. You always have that option, only not an option in rare cases like Bachsmith/II, Rocksmith goes to the Movies, and Rock Singles.

The links next to each song above that says [XBL] / Steam are individual links for purchase 🙂

    1. As am I, of course seeing a band like Fall of Troy and BTBAM being added speaks well for some New Jersey math jazz metal insanity.

  1. See, with a pack like this, I wouldn’t have time for South Park: The Fractured But Whole even it had come out on time.

    Nice job Ubisoft!

    1. I have good news for you! If you have $3 you can enjoy Brian Setzers “rock this town” on Rocksmith just like I have been doing ever since it came out on June 9th of last year. 🙂

  2. Not a Bowie fan, but he definitely gets my respect. The icing on that is that he helped introduce SRV to the world.

Glad to see some real “Variety” in this pack. (especially happy to see Brian Setzer) Great job Ubi.

Now if we can get another Variety Pack to include B.B., Prince, the Eagles, A Tribe Called Quest, and the Beastie Boys. hmmm, does Natalie Cole have anything bass heavy?

  3. I had low expectations after the first song was announced. The other three are requests (or at least I’ve meant to request them but can’t remember everything for which I have asked). So for less than a dollar (before taxes) I will give the Fall of Troy a chance.
