Song Speculation: Fleetwood Mac returns for Variety Pack IV

Hello Rocksmith fans!

A clue courtesy of RollingStone222 has been posted and solved and it seems like we have another song from Fleetwood Mac to add to the Rocksmith library!

For a bit we were stumped but then…

Awesome! We were onto something now…

Not shoehorning at all… That’s the ticket!

Well, it’s another Variety Pack so let’s pick some random songs from a few different genres…

The following is speculation

more 80s synthpop!

Been getting back into pop punk thanks to some of my fave music games.

We can do drop tunings now right?

There you have it? A refused return from Fleetwood Mac! What else are you hoping to see join them in Variety Pack IV? Let us know!

  1. I am really psyched for “I Ran,” I think the guitar parts will be more fun to play than most people will expect them to be.

  2. Here are my completely random guesses based on the structure of the previous packs:

Fleetwood Mac – Never Going Back Again

    Motorhead – Overkill
    The 1975 – Chocolate
No Doubt – Just a Girl

  3. Korn would be sweet but I’m going the “eagle has landed” by Avatar, “we’re only gonna die for our own arrogance” by sublime and throw in some country.

    1. I’ve given up… I figured no beatles cause licensing ties to guitar hero, but thought mccartney stuff would make it, but for such a big name, there is never even a whisper. How good would it be!

    1. Well if it ever does, if I gift you the DLC will you post a video of it? Lol. (I think we lost PJ-10 when the site changed or maybe the awesome rush dlc forever shut him up)

      1. I will post a video of me playing the song and literally jerking myself off between notes in the breakdown. It’s FYS, you know there will be at least ONE breakdown.

  4. korn would be awesome, would rather have a pack, but maybe a single could lead to a 5 pack…like fly leaf, that would be perfect, you could get a good variety of there sound with 6 tracks. While we are still dreaming, ill be the first to say it …Funkadelic Maggot Brain…and pearl jam yellow ledbetter, what the heck 😉

    1. Is there a song / album cutoff point for your choice of Korn?
Just curious as I pretty much stopped listening when Twisted Transistor come out… i just felt the relationship was over when i heard that lol.

      1. 1. Self-Titled
        2. Issues
        3. Life Is Peachy
        4. Follow The Leader

That’s it for me. After that, Korn was done as far as a band… everything after that felt so manufactured. Then all the line-up changes… uggh. Even when they branched out some with the dubstep album it was using producers and songwriters as a crutch.

Just like all their records I’ll give the new one a shot but I don’t expect to spin it more than once or twice.

        1. I do actually agree that it was all downhill after that.
I did give untouchables a decent amount of spins.
Then take a look in the mirror come and i tried to embrace it, but it was pretty much where i totally parted ways with them.
To top it all off as a disappointing way to go out, Twisted Transistor was an “absolute” confirmation that there was no hope from there on.

          1. i loved untouchables, if your going to do a change/concept album, that is how you do it right, i dont think korn really knows what to do anymore. Take a look in the mirror i dont mind because it grew on me from heavy rotation from the peeps i used to hang with. Korn always had a sense of humor, so i thought twisted transistor was a fun /joke kinda song, like metallica singing about gasoline, its supposed to be over the top, little did i know it was a sign of shit to come

        2. could not agree more after take a look in the mirror thats been the case, maybe i had korn III in for a few months in the car, problem was i liked the sound but all the songs really sounded to much alike, not enough distinction between them but thats the most they ever went back to their “old” sound and yeah… 95 percent of the new tracks by them…meh, at least manson , reznor and deftones have some decent albums after 05…korn never really grew up past that

      2. I was a huge fan. It goes Self-Titled , Untouchables, Issues, Life Is Peachy , Take a look in the mirror, Follow the leader, Korn III, after that its cherry picking…See you on the other side really only listened to twisted.t and liar. most of the album was crap, love song was good acoustic/unplugged and the bonus cd with eating up inside was my fav track off the album, Korn II had kiss and some clever ideas, but monkey was crap without head at first and the whole album suffered. The tracks written by Korn but performed by guest vocals on queen of the damned soundtrack were awesome, so some of the covers released over the years. I never really listened much to the other albums, to be fair never gave them to much of a chance, but skimmed the tracks and etc and was not impressed.
