If there’s a hardcore punk song, then I’m going to want it! Police Truck (from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater as well) would be a great place to start for getting Dead Kennedys in to the game! – @OsagaTheGreat

This could also be a good time to squeeze in one of the only big RATM songs not in the game (guerilla radio), thats the last song by them Ive been really wanting, hopfully they could still put it in, I noticed they are off the top requested so im sure overall people have not requested them as much but I still hope we get that track sometime. Really excited. Alien Ant Farm smooth criminal could be a fun skate song thats not in a tony hawk (wish by aaf be awesome also) afi boy who destroyed the world be amazing, bad religon you, or millencolin no cigar. Soooooo many amazing possiblies, this is probably my most anticipated song pack. Wish it was a 15 pack lol. Ubisoft you guys are knocking it outta the park! AMAZING JOB!!! The first time I heard “Superman” was while watching “Kingpin”, so I consider it more of a bowling song. I plan on picking it up either way.
For a video game it’s ridiculous how much THPS (all the way back from the first in the series) has affected my life. Music, clothes, friends and of course a life long loving of skateboarding. I’m expecting the nostalgia effect of this pack to be immense!

pack, I somewhat like the band Pennywise and their music sounds great like skate-punk style genre!

Okay guys, looks like the only way to get Maggot Brain in Rocksmith is:
1. Shoot a Eddie Hazel’s biopic starring Will Smith with $500M box office with Maggot Brain as a final masterpiece
2. Make a videogame for a wide audience with Maggot Brain
3. Get Top1 chart position with movie soundtracks
4. Maybe then Ubisoft considers doing Maggot Brain? =/
Wait….what? Lol, dont know abiut all that ,Its def a deeeeep cut, and a lot of people dont know the song but I think ubisoft guys know the “hardcore kinda forum/vocal fanbase” wants it and I think they will sneak it in to some variety pack sooner than later. They have said they are looking for more vatiety (more pop, jazz, county, etc) they are trying to please everyone and so far doing not a bad job at all. If you like maggot brain you should check out john frusiante (mispell? Hes the old RHCP guitarist) he does a 12 min rendition of maggot brain and pearl jam has done black/little wing/maggot brain mashups live before, you can check em out on youtube

Playing the Tony Hawk games growing up was had a huge influence on my musical taste so this might be the most confident I’ve ever been in a mixed artist pack before knowing the songs. Looking forward to seeing what direction they go with it. I wouldn’t even rule out the possibility of this pack “coincidentally” being entirely songs from Tony Hawk games, but no matter what it’ll probably be an easy buy for me.
If it were all tracks from tony hawk that would be aaaaaaamazing, we already have primus jerry was a racecar driver
