Hello Rocksmith fans!
Exciting things are happening in Rocksmith+ this week!
Let’s check out some of the main things we learned from the Rocksmith+ Music Licensing AMA:
They’re looking into adding more sub-genres to the search menu such as Punk Rock
Soon…
They want to license more Japanese Artists in the future
They aren’t going to tell us if they are going to license a cover of Led Zeppelin…
They are aware of the desire for extended range:
Will you show up to play it?
The focus has been new song releases but Rocksmith Workshop verification cadence will resume in the new year
We found out who did the some of the covers (Metallica / Megadeth)
🤘
We found out they are looking to bring back Non Stop Play and Multiple Playlists to Rocksmith+ !
More previous content (RS1/RS2014) could appear as a cover in Rocksmith+
The sheet music feature is not feature complete
Update: Regarding delistings
Cool stuff, nothing too revealing but the peek behind the curtain is appreciated…
Check out the full AMA here and also a detailed breakdown from cloph_
Next up the new Dev Choices video from Anthony Martinez detailing the release cadence for 2024 and a recap of Rocksmith+ in 2023!
Here are the main points:
- January will have a new cadence of song releases
- January will include five songs (Master Tracks) from MUSE, including Hysteria and Super Massive Black Hole (which we previously had covers of released this month)
- three song drops a month
- Majority will still be Master Tracks
- 60 Guitar/Bass arrangements | 40 Piano (approximately)
- 50 NEW songs a month average
Are you excited to see what other MUSE songs come back (or are added!) to Rocksmith+ How do you feel about having 3 song drops as opposed to one large one a month? Let us know!
Looks good so far. Please look at adding multiplayer!
I don’t really mind about having one big drop or several small ones in a month. However bigger drops is great, it is a sign that things are improving.
