The rs colored strings are put out by DR strings. They were great when I first started, but I could only find on eBay. A little pricey, and the coating flakes off like crazy

It seems you don’t know how licensing works. It is not up to the developers. It is up to the BAND (yeah crazy right?). So Ubi could pay everything they earned from the games they made but if the band doesn’t want to be in Rocksmith, money doesn’t matter (also metallica is a somewhat crappy band if you ask me)
would of been an instant buy if it was pretty much any other the pretty reckless song. heavan knows is great but not play, i’ve been waiting for them for a loong time. cherry bomb is a big song but not one i cant live without. flyleaf is okay, take it off i like but again not something i’d request personally. and i have zero interest in hole.

Would definitely like to see something in the near future that really moves the needle. A 12 pack from a top band… overall upgrade (Rocksmith 2016?!). Things feel a bit stagnant and gimmicky of late.

Not bad song choices, but I think Take It Off is the only one I’ll get any longterm enjoyment out of. The rest are either too simplistic or just not my style.

I like this pack. Sure, heart, Joplin, etc. would have made this pack even better but I think its a fun pack. I would have said “I love rock & roll” should have made the pack (or the game by now) but its probably something that can be learned with tabs (or by ear) so its probably money best spent elsewhere (at least for me on bass, no idea about guitar).

Question: (Preface) Yes I know the pack is already out. Just brining this up for discussion.
When we say, “Women who Rock” are we talking only about rock music or metal? Just throwing it out there as I wish this pack had taken a few varied directions. That Joan Jett would have been nice (I Love R n R). Would also have been nice to have the Dixie Chicks, Bonnie Raitt, and maybe Orianthi in the mix as well.
It’s like when we got some irish themed songs for St. Patrick’s day. We didn’t get ALL the Irish themed songs, only the ones they licensed 🙂
