  1. Meow… Someone get Elliot a tampon… He got called out for sucking ubisofts dick and can’t deal with the truth…. Lol I love it?

    1. It’s ok, lol. I knew you were talking to me. I agree with you that online multiplayer would be a fun addition. Maybe when they release another sequel, we’ll get it.

  2. Just saying son, not hating. Not everyone is like you and get free Dlc.I’m more than 100% sure that there were more requests for Neil Young than Collective Soul and I don’t need to look at any database!

    1. You have a problem with me getting a free DLC code for running an up to date blog for Rocksmith, for spending my Monday nights typing in names to give away a code on twitter, for reading shitty comments every day on YouTube and here? That’s cool.

You were referring to this DLC btw, not Collective Soul, nice try. Trust me there are numerous requests for Devo, Judas Priest, and Play With Me. Sorry that your personal taste doesn’t line up every week.

      Bye.

  3. Fsquirrel theres a million of priest song to add i wouldnt mind paying the hellion éven 40 sec is way better than 3-4-5 min of other band , yes the First thing i did after buying électric eyes was ré learning it its so good we Need online multiplayer to play priest and Many other bécause of the guitar work i had requested 2-3 other for extrême but this. 1 is good would have préféréd muther dont wanna go to school today i think id rather go outside and play!!!! With tapping intro maybe to hard :(. I tough i was listed in fools and no one cared or dare to read m’y comment Elliot

  4. The metal-patch denim vest combo’d with the hand-drawn My Little Pony poster in the bass videos is pure gold. 🙂

  5. Anyone for some Robin Trower or Neil Young?,instead of this run of the mill DLC.. Get something that people are actually requesting.

  6. Really great pack. I like all the songs, but I’ll probably just pick up Electric Eye and Play With Me. I actually like Girl U Want too, but don’t really have an interest in learning it. What is really exciting about this pack though is the addition of more Judas Priest. I love JP. Glenn Tipton is one of my guitar heroes, and I’ve been working for years to emulate how he plays.

I’m a little sad the Hellion wasn’t included, but I think RS made the right choice. I would have hated paying $3 for it, and I would have hated having it separate from Electric Eye. I love the song, but it’s not worth the cost. I think a lot of people complaining on this board about the omission forget that Rocksmith isn’t the only avenue for learning guitar.

On that note, If anyone is interested, here’s a guitar tab for the Hellion, so you can play it before you start Electric Eye:

The only thing that makes me sad about this pack is that since JP got a single, that probably means we won’t be getting a Judas Priest pack 2 for a very long time. No Leather Rebel, Hellrider, Metal Meltdown, The Sentinel, Nightcrawler, Turbo Lover, Freewheel Burning, The Ripper, Ram It Down, or so many others. I could probably buy a 20 pack from Judas Priest.

  7. Alright, now I’m not the only one who’s been asking for it. It’s about time Rocksmith goes Purple. (Should have happened before he died)

    1. Even if Ubisoft did get permission, it would be several months. I recall Dan Amrich saying in one of the previous live-streams shortly after the deaths of the likes of David Bowie and Lemmy that people had wanted more of their songs in this game, but that the complexities of licensing mean that it is simply not possible to get permission for a song that quickly.

  8. so much whining this week. I for one am pleased to finally have something (2 tracks!) that I can NOT get in the high 90% range on my 2nd play through. It’s been a while since we had something to challenge those of us who like to play fast difficult material, I welcome it, this stuff makes me a more skilled player.

  9. “80’s Song Pack?!”

    *perks up with excitement

    * looks at songs

    * walks away with unfulfillment and everything returns to grey

  10. Electric eye is great! Right between Living after midnight and Painkiller in difficulty. Time for Priest pack 2 I hope: Hell bent for leather, Night Crawler, Ram it down, Metal Meltdown, Blood red skies… And JP deserves a six pack right?!? How about the cheesy goodness of Turbo Lover.

  11. I’ll hold my breath for a 70’s pack. There was a lot of music I liked in the 80’s but none of it made it into the pack unfortunately.

  12. Another week of keeping my hand in my pocket. Since the new year, I think 38 special is the only pack worth buying.

  13. Hell yes, Devo! Pack’s an instant buy for me with that inclusion, hopefully they’ll have more someday.

  14. All of these songs look super fun. I will probably get the whole pack. TBH I’m not that familiar the JP so I won’t miss the Hellion intro either.

  15. Probably. Should have been Hellion/Electric Eye done as one song. This is supposed to go as a reply to Eliot.

  16. Will leave the pack except for electric eye. Really should have had Hellion intro attached though. Would have paid an extra buck for the combo. I’ve never heard Electric Eye played by itself. Even the radio always plays those two together.

  17. Not interested. Had high hopes being that it was 80’s and such…never heard 2 of these songs…or if I did…turned them off quick. I am not really disappointed, extremely apathetic is more like it. So, no worries here and really meant no offense to any fans…

  18. Sounds like people might have paid extra to have Hellion included. Missed opportunity there.

Speaking of Extreme… the songs are either way hard or too easy this week. My sweet spot is “Panic Switch”, Black Keys, Foo Fighters, etc.

Too many of those tall skinny bars on the chart and I have to pass.

Guitar World magazine (Ace/Slash) cover has “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Strange Ways” tabbed this month. That’s the kind a diversity I’m looking for.

        1. If it cost them as much as all the others to license, there’s no reason to think the price would have been any different than any other song.

The south park song was already licensed to them because the studio work on the south park game so it’s not even a case you can take into account here…

  19. Amazing pack this week! The inclusion of anything by Extreme gets me hyped. Not only that but Judas Priest too? Kinda bummed about no Hellion but it’s only a repeating 40 second intro (which honestly if you’re that distraught, just look it up on normal tabs). And Devo is probably the easiest pill to swallow when it comes to New-Wave, and I’m so glad it wasn’t a lackluster track like Whip It or I Ran (So Far Away). Excellent Pack for all three songs.

  20. I am looking forward to all the songs even though Play with Me is beyond my skill level. I think this is a great DLC. This is the first one in a month I am buying. For all of you who don’t like this one, there is always next week. For me I like the diversity they have been putting out over the last several weeks even if I don’t buy them. To me, this gives players of different genres something that they may want to play.

  21. Judas Priest sure, but I say whip it to the rest. It would take more than words to show my disappointment. If you go 80’s…don’t deep dive tracks from bands that barely had 2 hits…seriously

  22. I would’ve much preferred Devo’s Tank Girl recording of Girl U Want. That would make this a full pack buy. This version is just too pop for me to enjoy listening to while playing. I’ll have to wait for Extreme until I get a little (a LOT) better. Will probably get the JP because it looks right about my level and style. And I don’t care that Hellion is missing – I won’t miss it.

  23. Can we get some non-metal tracks please… The Devo song is the only non-metal track this month. These devs praise variety all the time but I don’t see it this month at all. Not everyone is a shredder.

      1. I like to spend money every month on at least one pack. I haven’t spent a nickel this month. Thanks for your shitty comment. 🙄

        1. You can’t just say that you don’t aim for variety in pack over only 1 month of DLC. There will always be month that are more oriented or more eclectic than other depending on what license they got and what is ready for release.
Their is still one pack to be release and it might be something completely different too.

And you can always spend money on older packs/songs too you know. I mean you might have missed something or might have improve on some areas making older songs more approachable than when it was released. It’s not like you have to get one of the pack release this month absolutely.

  24. why does devo feel like they are scraping the bottom. I’m sure there are plenty of people who like it but who really wants to play this. I rather get some real music not quirky noise pop

  25. I would have Paid it phoque , its like pizza without cheese or pepp a car without a windshield it work but Damn what have we done for this Lol. Just Put an update with the hellion and youll se ppl Will pay to get the whole feeling and song

    1. except you wouldnt have been able to play them one into the other anyway as they are “separate tracks” so unless the devs made it as one, then you can cue up the “why does this song cost twice as much as all the others? 40 seconds extra?”

  26. Not getting Electric Eye because of the “intro”? Come on guys, it’s still one of the best we’ve had recently.

  27. I’m so happy for more Extreme I’ll buy it as soon as I’m home. Actually I’ll take the whole pack just to support the devs. ^^

  28. As its been pointed out its a shame that Hellion is not on here but I’m still looking forward to playing Electric Eye which is one of my favourite JP songs. Not really bothered about the other 2 songs. Wish there was more stuff like Duran Duran

  29. Wow the lack of hellion intro really ruins that judas priest song to the point I dont even want it anymore, it sucks that I have been wishing for that song for years now and this is what I get. Well great playing man, its a shame the developers did not make it right.

  30. I’ll never be able to play Play With Me, so I’ll only get that if I like the bass… I hate Devo so I won’t be getting that. I will get the Judas track, but it’s a shame that Hellion is missing
