We also noticed that Mothica Glow In The Dark received a Piano arrangement for a very specific purpose…

This is a good news for people that download the app without knowing there’s a subscription. Now we just need to get those Hail the Sun tracks in the rotation for Guitarists and Bassists 👀

Interesting…

While there is no delisting news, we did notice that one Piano song seemed to vanish recently, so there probably is some shifting in the library happening that we will find out about later

The Cure (Live) Bass drop! A few iconic basslines we don’t have versions of otherwise, though I wouldn’t be surprised if we get the rest of Disintegration at some point with the shift towards completing albums.

  • Disintegration | E Standard | One of the most iconic drone-y bass parts of the Cure, very locked-in and consistent, something you should be able to play with your eyes closed in time.
  • End | E Standard | Like Disintegration but more involved, gets a little bit more tricky with its string skips and movements.
  • Open | Drop D | Opens (heh) with a little bit of a bass solo and has a bit of fun with string skips in its riff until it gets kinda stuck in itself for the second half, but quite fun until then and not too bad after that.
  • Primary | E Standard | This one plays pretty differently live, which I guess it’d have to given the album version is just a four-string and six-string bass over drums. Checked some live videos to make sure I was getting the general playing right, but there’s a couple of fills I’m a bit iffy on. Still, quite fun in general to learn from.

Thanks Mocatastic!

That’s it for the first two weeks of November, see you on the next song drop!
