Rocksmith+ Celebrates July 4th with Contemporary Country Music + Title Update

Howdy Rocksmith fans 🤠,

This week Rocksmith+ gave us an 26 song drop ahead of July 4th, featuring some big modern country artists like Zach Bryan, Bailey Zimmerman, Sam Barber, Ryan Bingham, Warren Zeiders, and the album cut of Don McLean’s American Pie!

Last night the Title Update for the month dropped, which feature two QoL features… Let’s check it out!

Feature improvements / New features

  • Authentic arrangements are now grouped for easy searching.

Essentially it’s a “Hide Chord Charts” Update

  • Bookmark and access your favorite songs, when you finish a song in the results screen.

Major Bug Fixes

 

General
  • Fixed an issue that could make the game crash while scrolling in the Ubisoft Connect Overlay.
  • Fixed an issue where your subscription status screen would appear after a purchase.
  • Solved an issue where a softlock would occur upon returning to the Song Details screen after. playing a track from the Song Portal on a new account.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Up Next to show only certain songs.
  • Fixed an issue that made the Up Next widget to show repeatedly.
  • Fixed an issue where no songs were suggested on Up Next.
Rocksmith+ Mobile
  • Fixed an issue that prevented users to complete a challenge related to applying arrangement filter to a search.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to softlock upon clicking the Artist Page Link of artists with no authentic arrangements.
  • Fixed an issue where MIDI devices were not recognized on iOS devices.
  • Fixed an issue that caused a crash warning to appear when launching the game on mobile devices.
  • Fixed Daily Challenges panel flicker when My Dashboard has no progress in Home menu.
Learn
  • Fixed a crash that would occur while selecting certain sections under the Learn tab.
  • Fixed an issue where infinite loading would occur after choosing “Next Lesson” after “C Major Scale – 2 Octaves (Step 2: Left Hand).
Noteway
  1. Fixed an issue that caused Tone and Tone Switch to not work on the song Dead of Winter by Marty Friedman.
Challenges Portal
  • Fixed an issue that caused progression challenges to reset upon relaunching the game.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Daily Challenge widget to update when only one challenge was complete.
  • Search
  • Fixed a crash that would occur while searching certain terms on the search bar.
Connections
  • Fixed an issue when connecting Real Tone Cable or iRig, where a window would occur saying, “Your Instrument’s Connected with Built-In Mic”
  • Fixed an issue where connection could not be established with iRig PRO on iOS 16 or lower.
PlayStation
  • Fixed an issue that was causing initial load to fail around 94% for some users.

Major Known Issues

Well… This list has certainly grown

Audio
  • Sound may be distorted when launching the game with Dolby Digital and DTS enabled, and Audio Exclusivity is turned on.
  • The Pitch Shifter feature may not work properly if you are connecting to an audio interface with ASIO and the ASIO device buffer size is set below 32.
General
  • The difficulty target percentage numbers in Song Details do not always match the location of the difficulty slider.
  • The Progress Portal may not update the days played this week properly.
  • The tuner may not register a note ringing when a string was in tune, but fell out of tune before the tuning confirmation.
  • The tuner does not register a note when transitioning from the confirmation screen back to tuning screen without strumming again.
  • Some widgets occasionally get stuck loading in Play menu.
  • Title can become softlocked after exiting the Audio Input prompt using the Close button.
  • A softlock sometimes occurs after exiting any song and returning to Song Details.
Mobile
  • On Piano, when using audio-based note detection through a microphone or an audio interface, notes may register as correct even if they are played in the incorrect octave.
  • A softlock or crash may occur when pausing and unpausing the tutorial if you are using the Rocksmith Tuner app to connect to the game.
  • The Ubisoft Connect log-in screen is forced into horizontal / landscape view, which can cause the keyboard to overlap with most of the log-in screen.
  • It may take a long time to transition into the Noteway on some older devices.
  • On the Search page, if you cancel the filter and display many songs, album art may not be displayed for some songs.
  • On the Play page, some song queues may fail to load in.
  • The Instrument Sound setting will remain off after setting the Audio Input to Built-In Mic and connecting an audio interface.
  • Users may occasionally be unable to establish a MIDI connection if they attempt to begin playing a song with no input connection previously established.
Noteway
  • The “Late” indicator does not always appear in the Noteway when hitting a note late.
  • Some flickering may happen on sustain techniques in the Noteway on PC.
PlayStation
  • When using the circle button for menu operation, input cannot be made on the login screen.
Rocksmith Tuner App
  • A crash may occur when the Rocksmith Tuner app is brought back in focus after the mobile device is locked.
Rocksmith Workshop
  • Rocksmith Workshop may take longer than expected to open.
Steam
  • When opening the Steam purchase screen in the Steam version of the PC game and switching to double-byte input on the credit card input screen, any characters entered are not displayed.
  • Tutorial
  • The introductory video does not mention all supported platforms.
