Rocksmith+ Patch brings new songs and arrangements to end September

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Last night we received confirmation there would be a Patch update to Rocksmith+!

The patch fixes a few bugs and does a few slight visual changes that we picked up on, let’s take a look at the notes.

Feature improvements / New features

• Connection Settings
  • The connection settings pop-up has been reworked to ask for your sound setup before asking how you are connecting your guitar and/or bass
• Creator Portal
  • Bass chart arrangements are now correctly displayed as “Bass chart” instead of a duplicate “Chord chart” arrangement
  • A “Songs without arrangements” section has been added to the “Browse” page. This includes a carousel as well as a page containing the full list
  • Raised the number of arrangements that a single person can submit in a week, from 15 to 30
• Rocksmith Workshop
  • Added the ability to edit chords directly in the timeline
  • Added key command to toggle MIDI playback (Shift + Z)
  • Improved handling when audio fails to load due to region restrictions
  • Sustains can now be added to muted notes
• Song Details
  • The “View all” button should show all arrangements for a given song on a specific instrument
• Song Library Website
  • Bass chart arrangements are now correctly displayed as “Bass chart” instead of a duplicate “Chord chart” arrangement
  • Added an “Unsupported Country” screen when accessing the site where Rocksmith+ is not available
• Tones
  • The “Electro-Harmonix Ram’s Head Big Muff Pi” pedal has been added to the following tones:
    • “Bass Fuzz”
    • “SoCal Tweed, Fuzz”
    • “SoCal Tweed, All the Way Up“

  • Game can sometimes crash after idling at the genre select menu

  • Keyboard navigation gets stuck after selecting the Search bar
  • Search results reverts back to A-Z after completing a song

• Rocksmith Workshop

  • A crash may occur when using the “suggest fingering” button on a chord while making a bass arrangement.
