Hello Rocksmith fans!
No, it’s not a cover, this is not an April Fools Joke, this is really happening!
In an article I never though I would write I am pleased to report that SEVEN songs from the most requested band for Rocksmith have finally been officially licensed for the platform. The interesting thing is that we knew six out of seven of the tracks before release so when the update hit (late at night) we were surprised to see a heavily requested cover was not only added, but only available in North America. What’s interesting about this is the other six songs are only available OUTSIDE of North America…
licensing is hard

Now the arguing about the Bass chart For Whom the Bell Tolls can begin!
Are you excited for these Metallica songs? Did you get your VPN set up yet? Do you think there could be more to come? Let us know!
How do you find the Metallica content?
I’m assuming you are in the US. You will need to use a VPN solution to spoof your location because the Metallica songs are region locked. I’ve heard Proton VPN is free and can do this. With the free version you don’t get to choose your location so you’ll just have to connect a few times until you get a European based server.
