Greetings Rocksmith fans!
It’s Friday again, so you all know exactly what that means. However, unlike most of Dan’s DLC clues, the answer to this one was decidedly vague as to what artists/songs it could be referring to:

A three-pack containing songs from different artists, the one thing linking all of them is that each has the word “Love” in the title. Well, that’s really specific, it’s not like there are thousands upon thousands of songs that could fit that description or anything…

Update:

So what could we expect next Tuesday? To give a basic idea, here are three semi-realistic picks from each of TRR’s editors. Bear in mind that some artists are highly unlikely to make it into the game at all, so be realistic with your predictions!
Daniel’s Picks:
The Who: Love Reign O’er Me
A frantic, folk-y acoustic guitar part, a nice lead guitar, and if you take the time to really listen, a varied Entwistle-y bass guitar line. Plus, it’s about time we got some more of The Who in the game anyway.
Aerosmith: Love in an Elevator
Come on, admit it, you all know you love this song. Plus, dat solo doe…
Stevie Ray Vaughan: Love Struck Baby
Or they’ll just hold this song for that long-awaited full DLC pack SRV deserves.
Oscar’s Picks:
Heart – All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You
Heart have a couple good songs in the Rocksmith platform already, but they’re one of the greatest female-led bands of all time, so the more the better in my opinion! This track has been one of my most requested songs in any rhythm game, so hopefully we finally see it!
The J. Geils Band – Love Stinks
How have we never gotten this classic before? Rock Band and Guitar Hero have both gotten Freeze Frame, and Rock Band also got Centerfold, but this song has never shown up in any game! I say the time to end that is now, because forget love, not having this song is what REALLY stinks!
Jefferson Airplane – Somebody to Love
Music from the 60s in general is woefully under-represented in games. Most of the time it’s due to a lack of master, but Rocksmith doesn’t have that issue. While this song has appeared in Rock Band, it’s never been playable on a real guitar! Jefferson Airplane are a legendary band that could easily fill up a 12 pack, but one song is better than nothing, and this would definitely be an absolute cracker to introduce them to the platform with!
Ted’s Picks:
Huey Lewis and the News – The Power of Love
Sure, we may be under-represented in music from the 60s but why are you overlooking the lacking and forgotten “Songs from Back to the Future” genre? My reasoning for this song, other than being a wicked awesome guitar song with a great solo, is that it was featured on disc for Rock Band 3 and was one of my most played Pro Guitar tracks. Maybe someone at Ubisoft knew this?
The Cure – Friday I’m In Love

I don’t care if Monday is blue really. Or if Tuesday’s grey (Wednesday too). Thursday is the day I don’t care about you lot cause Friday I’m waiting for Dan to hint that this chart-topping worldwide hit is finally going to be in the game. We definitely need an upbeat song to counteract all that blood rain and masks made of skin we had last week with Slayer.
The Ohio Players – Love Rollercoaster
Another alumni from the School of Rock Band 3 Pro Guitar Songs, this features an instantly recognisable riff that is played up and down the neck. Repetitive? Hell no, it’s funk!
Elliott’s Picks
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts “I Love Rock & Roll”

A long overdue penultimate female led rock anthem. Beginner friendly and iconic enough to even have the most jaded metal fans accept it’s inclusion. Previously included with Pro Guitar in Rock Band 3 if you are interested in what it might play like.
Pat Benatar “Love is a Battlefield”

“We are young, heartache to heartacheee” we already have Hit Me With Your Best Shot so we might as well add another Benatar track to the library. Round off the pack with Hell is For Children when the opportunity presents itself Ubi. Also the song has a great bass line and yes there is a bit of guitar happening in the mix.
Golden Earring “Radar Love”

Not the White Lion version sorry.
Did you know there are 90 songs in Rock Band alone that have “love” in the title?
What songs would you want in this lovely three pack? Let us know!

If it’s Michael Bolton .. Love and tenderness .. I will smash my PS3 !!!!
Reo speedwagon keep on loving you
misfit love – QOTSA
I feel like “Friday I’m in Love” is a safe bet. I seem to recall Paul (or Dan… Or Someone) saying, when Rocksmith 2014 was released, that part of the reason custom tunings were added to the game was to include “Friday I’m in Love”… Lock it in!

Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow) – Coheed and Cambria
…I CAN DREAM, CAN’T I?!?
i’d second this. although it is one of the easier coheed songs on both lead and rhythm.
…and i’d be pretty disappointed of CoCa didn’t get their own 3 pack at the very least.
Feel like making love bad company, whole lotta love zep,Save all your love great white
I would say The Cure is a good guess.
I’m personally hoping for Weight of Love by The Black Keys. Has two awesome guitar solos and pretty sweet bass riffs.
Hell yes, Love Gun by Kiss! Calling Dr. Love, I Love it Loud
Nobody to Love – Josh Homme
Accidentally in Love – Counting Crows
Too Fast for Love – Motley Crue
Love you madly – Cake
Easy Lover – Phil Collins
Love Train – Wolfmother
Noone loves me & neither do I – Them Crooked Vultures
LOVE Removal Machine – Cult
LOVE Gun – KISS
Stone in LOVE – Journey
I’m not greedy… one out of three will suffice…
What I would like to see:
Still Loving You – The Scorpions
Stone in Love – Journey
Heard it in a Love Song – Marshall Tucker Band (Flute Solo!)
My Actual Guess:
I Love Rock & Roll – Joan Jett And The Blackhearts
Love Rollercoaster – Ohio Players
Radar Love – Golden Earring
What it will probably end up being:
Making Love out of Nothing at All – Air Supply
Love Me – Justin Bieber
Tonight I Celebrate My Love – Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack
Love will tear us apart – Joy Division
Love, reign ‘oer me – The Who
Interstate Love song – Stone Temple Pilots
Also:
Whole Lotta Love – Led Zeppelin (Not many chances, though Jimmy has gotten a little better with games)
I love rock ‘n’ roll – Joan Jett
Friday, i’m in love – The Cure (it’s this or Love will tear us apart)
Love in an Elevator- Aerosmith
Somebody to love – Jefferson airplane (Rocksmith needs more psychedelic)
……uh…..California Love (not the radio version)
In order, I’d prefer:
Golden Earring – Radar Love
The Cure – Friday I’m In Love
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts – I Love Rock & Roll
Though, I’d also be cool with “Weird Al” Yankovic’s “I Love Rocky Road”, complete with tabbed out accordion solo. “Aw, make it talk!”
One Love – Bob Marley
Whole Lotta Love – Zeppelin
This Love – Pantera
Damn, with as much reggae as I’ve requested, I should kick myself for not being the first to write that one on here.
YES!!!!!!!!!!
ONE LOVE.
Could You Be Loved
My God, I’ve got to take some time off.
Seriously though, it’s almost asinine that that Joan Jett track has yet to make it as a Rocksmith song. Some songs are just gimmies. Smoke on the Water, Wild Thing, Born to Be Wild, and I Love Rock n Roll.
Ask anyone, “Hey they don’t have I Love Rock N Roll on there.”
Response (scratching your head): “Wha…… really?”
Aerosmith’s Love In An Elevator is due and it’s about time we see some STP. Interstate Love Song would be my first pick from them, but it would be nice to at least see them show up to the party. Lastly, it is about time we see some Huey Lewis and the News. I agree with y’all on that Power of Love
Sorry, one more. Bout time for these guys as well.
Gimmie All Your Lovin’
Anybody know who that lil’ old band is?
“I Need You Tonight” would be epic from ZZ Top
My response is always THANK GOD! I bloody hate that song. I don’t care if I’m the only person in the world, I truly hate it.
Whole Lotta Love
Ain’t Talking ’bout Love
Let Me Put My Love Into You
🙂
I can dream can’t I?
Love & Meth – Korn
Interstate Love Song – Stone Temple Pilots
Love in an Elevator – Aerosmith
even though Korn and STP deserve five packs themselves
Still Loving You – Scorpions, would rule
Love in an Elevator – Aerosmith, would be great for the bass line among other things
Love Spreads – The Stone Roses, would be a fantastic jam
Okay, totally improbable, but my wish-list fantasy would be:
Led Zeppelin – Whole Lotta Love
Van Halen – Why Can’t This Be Love
Journey – Stone in Love
My somewhat more plausible wishlist:
Def Leppard – Love Bites
Night Ranger – Don’t Tell Me You Love Me
Robert Palmer – Addicted to Love.
I’d be happy with I Love Rock & Roll, Love Stinks, or The Power of Love, too. 🙂
O’jayz Osbourne – Crazy Love Train
Queen – Somebody to Love
Aerosmith – Love in a Elevator
Van Halen – Feel Your Love Tonight
Fancy swapping Somebody to Love with Crazy Little Thing Called Love? Both great songs but dat killer solo on Crazy
and dat actually having more than 30 seconds of guitar amirite?
What language are you people speaking? It kind of resembles English.
They could pull a HMX and chart the piano chords to guitar. Either that or wait 1m40s for the guitar to start! I’m sure I’ve waited longer on bass before mind you.
Lenny Kravitz – Let Love Rule
Aerosmith – Love in an Elevator
The Cure – Friday I’m in Love
Whole lotta love !

Found the ignorant idiot.
Feel like making love… Bad company??
Love Gun by Kiss maybe?
