Speculation: Thin Lizzy is back in town on Rocksmith!

Greetings, Rocksmith fans.

My apologies for disappearing for three months without publishing the promised Legacy DLC review. And how appropriate, considering next week’s DLC!

Classic Rock & Roll fans, rejoice! Legendary Irish hard rock band Thin Lizzy is getting a three-pack, and their biggest radio hit has already been confirmed. I also have a few guesses as to what else could be in store for us:

Thin Lizzy’s other big radio hit, a must with its crunchy guitar riffs.

What a bassline!

Alternatively, if Dancing in the Moonlight is not the third song, Thin Lizzy’s famous cover of this traditional Irish folk tune might be it.

Here is Thin Lizzy’s Spotify page, what other songs do you think will be featured in this pack?

Lastly, I promise I will return to writing Legacy DLC reviews soon, and I will finish the Pantera Pack review in the process. I’ve been rather preoccupied in the months prior, and TRR wasn’t quite at the top of my list of priorities.

So, Rocksmith fans, are you happy to see Thin Lizzy finally appearing on Rocksmith? Leave a comment with your thoughts below.

  1. Would want still in love with you also. But to be honest, there are so many fantastic lizzy songs we could do with several packs. Would happily play Thin Lizzy all day long, with a touch of Free, Rainbow and of course Gary Moore.

      1. More thoughts from my youth? Got to give it up, Black Rose, Emerald is fun to play. Hollywood, Cowboy Song, Do anything you wanna do. The list is endless

        1. Yes, it’s a shame they couldn’t go all Hendrix on us with a 12 pack again! There’s enough great songs, for sure.

  2. Oh. Now. Oh. If Whisky in the Jar is not on there I will of course throw a massive fit but this is very, very interesting.

  3. PRAYING for “Emerald”… it’s just too good! Whatever we get I’ll be happy as I love this band. But yeah, “Emerald”. I so hope it’s in there.
