With BandFuse no longer releasing new content and the game being priced below $30.00, it seems like the “temporary” suspension of Realta’s US Operations, may be permanent.

The final DLC to be put on the marketplace was the GameStop exclusive track, Foxey Lady (Live) by Jimi Hendrix.

If you own BandFuse it may be a good idea to grab this track as we’ve noticed that Dance, Dance, Simple Man, and Run-Around have all gone missing on Xbox Live.

If you don’t own BandFuse then why not change that?

  1. I bought it full price. Not stung at all. The game is worth every penny and I STILL play it as much as Rocksmith. The note detection is better in Bandfuse and it has quite a few awesome songs which are not yet available as Rocksmith DLC (such as Rebel Yell). I was sad to hear the Bandfuse team got shut down.

    1. I bought the game on release day. Haven’t played rocksmith in months. Cable sucks, but since you can hook up any guitar cable to the adapter, it doesn’t bother me. I feel for any start-up company nowadays. A superior product with no backing has no chance against a flashy load of spoon fed crap.

      1. Sorry rocksmith. I actually like you alot. I’m just bitter that more people aren’t learning love or confusion by jimi so they have a better chance to score with the ladies. It’s not about being perfect. Bandfuse, I’ll always love you 😐 good bye

  2. Wow, 10 bucks. I bought it full price soon after release.
I can’t believe the guys that worked on it would jump ship from Ubi, if that’s what happened, to work for a second rate label like Realta.
Doomed to fail from the start, which is a shame, because Bandfuse has great sound, and the ducking is hard to beat.

    1. I bought full price. I bought every DLC. I bought the full price band bundle.

One-upped in terms of feeling stung. Hard.

  3. I’m waiting for the bandfuse revival. There are thousands of us who hold this game and we will use it as a coaster at some point its just a matter of time

  4. F you, Realta. You took our Hendrix from us and threw his genius into the sinking trash dumpster that was your game. F you! [weeps]

  5. I bought BandFuse at GameStop last week for $10. It is well worth that price, just in the savings in RockSmith DLC.

There are a few things I like better in BF, notably the tab view, but RS is a much more refined game. Not surprising since it is from a larger studio and is their second offering.

  6. Wow this company screwed up big time! From day one we were all pressing them for a European release but they decided to launch in US only and try to sort a European publisher out later…
I bought a copy of the game for posterities sake, but I have never played it because my box is not a US console :p
