I was as skeptical as anyone when chrisatkinson35 made his first post on the Rocksmith Forums, “Upcoming DLC Leaked!” I had seen stuff like this all the time and initially dismissed it as an attempt at getting a few choice reactions from people and then to disappear and never to be seen again. Then I noticed that his account on Ubi.com had actually been around since 2005 and additionally that RockBandAide guy received a similar email from him. Enough of my yammering though, this morning I awoke to find out indeed there is indeed picture proof and if it’s “shopped” it was done meticulously to go into detail that “Pumped Up Kicks” had been transposed to be played without a capo.
The songs revealed seem to be a Judas Priest Song Pack containing: Living After Midnight, Painkiller, and Breaking The Law. Additionally to Judas Priest there are three singles including: Foster The People (Pumped Up Kicks), Maroon 5 (This Love), and Evanescence (Bring Me To Life).
UPDATE: It seemed legit and it IS LEGIT Rocksmith-Matt posted this yesterday:
We’re glad there’s a lot of excitement and speculation on our upcoming DLC content. These songs (from Evanescence, Foster the People, Maroon 5, and Judas Priest) are in fact DLC content we plan on releasing for April. Stay tuned throughout the month for exact release dates.
These are really fun songs to play and add a great amount of variety to Rocksmith. We hope you’re excited as well. For now, enjoy all the Blues DLC.
