Hello Rocksmith fans!

This week we finally get a pack from the awesome Wilson sisters in @OfficialHeart!

Over the weekend we learned that both Alone (Bad Animals – 1987) and Straight On (Dog & Butterfly – 1978). Today we can confirm (via Xbox NZ) that Heart’s cover of 1985 Toronto’s What About Love (Heart – 1985) will be the third track in the song pack!

So, yeah… No Magic Man this time.

Where can I find Alone by Heart for Rocksmith? Can anyone help?

Lord Flatus

What’s the rhythm path on “Alone” look like? Does it alt-chart the piano somehow? TIA

Telecaster

You can see part of it at the beginning of this vid if that helps

Kip

Insta buy, all 3 are classic hits. Maybe I’ll see some of you folks on the Xbox leaderboards.

Lord Flatus

Two of my least favorite ballads from Heart, but my wife likes to sing them both so I’m down for the pack.

Wisenheimer

I like Heart but, to be honest, without “Magic Man” I’m not really all that excited by this pack.

Straight On is certainly the star of this selection. Buying all three and keeping my fingers crossed for another Heart pack.

This is a peculiar collection. The Wilson sisters have publicly stated many times that they are not too thrilled with the work they put out in the 80s. The fans like the songs, they were hits, so the band performs them. Now to see a first Heart pack and there are 2 80s tracks seems strange. I wonder if the sisters had any input on what songs made this DLC.

I don’t mind the 80s songs, as that is when I was introduced to Heart. The pack would have been stronger if Even it Up or Magic Man had been included.

So that list of strangely missed essential songs (example Guerilla Radio, Running Down a Dream, Cliffs of Rock City, Bad Medicine, Just a Girl, All Along the Watchtower, and others) doesn’t get a line through this month. Will keep hope alive.

Sad not to see Magic Man. I like the 80s track but Straight On is the best of the bunch here.

Man I’d love to get Hendrix’s All Along The Watchtower. Crosstown Traffic would be another great one. Same goes for Bad Medicine, I was always disappointed that one and Lay Your Hands on Me were nevee included in the Bon Jovi pack.

Telecaster

Lot of good 70’s artists got turned into puppet band power ballad machines in the 80’s and here we have 2/3 of the worst examples. But I guess Ubi’s gotta go with the hits.

Eventually we’ll get a Cheap Trick pack that’s like The Flame, Wherever Would I Be, and Dream Police as the one OK song

YT/IntegrityGamer

The Flame is a great tune.

Telecaster

Not a fan myself, but no malice, it’s gonna happen for you lol

Lord Flatus

Where’s the “lol” button, because this true!

Hopefully the notetrackers can eventually find some sort of work-around to replicate that Magic Man tuning in a safer arrangement; while I always like having original tunings if possible, I prefer even more so to not potentially blind myself with such tightly-wound 1st and 2nd strings.

Cjthemetalkid

I’m so happy we got Straight On but no Magic Man? Sad day indeed.

dallas dave

and no El Diablo!
