Rocksmith 2014 DLC (Bachsmith II)
Looks like you are all getting that TAB view you all wanted?!

We expect this link will be activated sometime after #UbisoftForward today
this is what I was worried about. Have to wait and hear what they say about those of us with a ton of dlc. I assume tough luck, new software new policy, and old dlc will continue to work with old game but no new songs just like last time.
I remember the flak Ubisoft was getting when they first announced Rocksmith and 2011. Look how that turned out. Instead of griping and hating on it, maybe sign up for the closed beta and test it out before bashing it. Just like the original Rocksmith the haters are coming out in droves before giving it a chance. Just saying. Yeah, I have been playing Rocksmith from day 1.
I don’t know. If the price is $5 to $10 per month or yearly cheaper and EVERY SONG is included while keeping the sub, it may be a good deal. I mean, I’ve paid well over $800 in songs (as they came out) This could be a deal.
I do like the BandFuse style tab, but not sure with it scrolling up instead of continuous.
I like the chord chart view.
If I weren’t in the process of moving into a new house, I’d have signed up for Beta. But everything is in packing stage.
Sad about no Keyboards/Drums inclusion.
I didn’t see anything about if we were able to remove the instrument, that we are playing, from audio track. (Again, like BandFuse)
Ok, I miss BandFuse 🙁
I’m in agreement with a lot of other folks in my disdain for the shift to a subscription model, but here’s an important detail that I hope gets clarified soon if it has not already: the tweet announcing Rocksmith+ says that we can play from “a vast, EVER-EXPANDING library of songs.”
Now, while it seems like a fair conclusion to guess that launching a new game would more than likely also herald the return of new song releases, will those new songs that are released after the launch of Rocksmith+ also be made available as standard paid DLC for Rocksmith 2014 Edition? Because the RS+ announcement in of itself already seems to have caused quite a significant (and in my opinion justifiable) backlash from the majority of the long-time fans, and that backlash would undoubtedly get far worse if we are then effectively told “yes, there will finally be new song releases, but only if you pay for the RS+ subscription service, and you can only play those songs on RS+.”
Also comments dont seem to post & i cant thumbs up anything using any ios or andriod device assuming our moderator gets or sees this.
So no new instruments, disappointing. A subscription based model the worst one I could’ve thought of them using, insuring we get the least while they make the most. And no mention of new bands or songs that I saw that aren’t things we probably have. Looks like a fail all around. Fingers crossed for good news but besides a new version, that may not offer us anything this looks fairly underwhelming. Still hopeful we here some good things as this moves on. Ubi is bizarrely unforthcoming w/ info compared to most companies.

N*sync, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Crash Test Dummies, and the Goonies them have all got me intrigued.
^theme^
Im just glad its back with new music that’s enough for me. If there are new features even better
For the moment I se no added value from rocksmith 2014. On the customer level that is… I expected better from Ubisoft. As for Gibson, disappointment was expected. If you tried the Gibson app , you know what I mean.
I’m def excited . I own 90 percent of rocksmith songs already( slowed down the last year and bought only around half of 2019/2020 selection ) so I really hope it includes most of them and a lot more. I hope they keep the guitarcade and session modes just tweak everything to run better . Also no drums or keys is very disappointing
It is difficult to say this but, it looks worse, I think they will remove minigames, I will not have online and I see the subscription service model impractical, the news is practically null, I see it unlikely that I will hire rocksmith +, unless they show something too much well at E3 I prefer to continue with the 2014 CDLC
Guitar hero live? anyone? lmao rip rocksmith
I don’t like the subscription model. Also from the look of the game it looks a lot less arcady and leaning more to the learning aspect. The only reason i see people starting to use the new game is if the guitar will be registered much better than Rocksmith 2014.
I really did not want a subscription service. Sorry Rocksmith but this is gonna cause intense backlash
Im really upset about this. I already bought all the DLC that’s offered that I want to practice. I dont want to pay a subscription to access the same content I already bought…
Looks like no drums or keys 🙁
still hoping for 7-string support at least!
Im leery of subscription models. If it doesnt contain a lot of new sogs that I didnt already purchase I don’t see the benefit. I also would want it to be able to play on any platform for a subscription model.
