Hello Rocksmith fans!
Wow, it sure has been awhile. There hasn’t been much to talk about lately since we noticed some interesting activity in Ubisoft’s Job Listings back in July 2020.
There has been some scattered activity since then with phrases such as:
- Create lead sheet arrangements for existing songs
- Accurate transcription of Guitar and Bass music
- Good to have knowledge of Guitar & Music
- Live operations of our Rocksmith brand
- Data Analyst for Mobile / Live Operations team for Rocksmith brand
- proprietary tablature authoring software
- Create lead sheet arrangements for existing songs with thoughtfulness and attention to detail
- Rhythmic transcriptions of vocal melodies within a variety of musical contexts
These phrases come from studios in Japan, India, and of course San Francisco with positions such as:
- Music Analyst
- Guitar and Bass Transcriptionist
- Lyric Analyst
- Guitar and Bass Transcriptionist
I think you get the picture… We might be very close to a reveal.

There’s been a number of Rocksmith content creators invited to the Ubisoft Star Player Program
Never thought this would even be a possibility

Would seem odd to invite more Rocksmith people if there wasn’t any upcoming future for Rocksmith right? Unless they are supporting stuff like this…

It’s been a YEAR!
If you’ve been staring at your calendar you’ve probably noticed that yes, it’s been more than a year since @UbisoftStudioSF stopped Rocksmith DLC (March 31, 2020), and it’s also been more than a year (April 6th, 2020) since we were told about The Future of Music Learning.
Is Rocksmith still alive?
E3 is actually (sort of) happening this year…
It may be a digital event but we didn’t exactly have a de-facto E3 in 2020. This year we do, and with it comes the third Ubisoft Forward (June 12th). You know what they say…

Sounds good. Hoping everything is compatible with 360 platform and old dlc.
Rocksmith + I know a lot were hoping for drum addition but thats probably not happening. At least give us some Black Sabbath with pigeon eating simulator as a plus

I just hope the official DLCs will be compatible somehow with the new stuff because I bought quite a bit of them and planning to get some more xD
Also wondering if the Cable will work with a new RockSmith game hmm…
