Dan sort of stumped us with the only clues being pop-punk and a generic Drop D progression, but despite a lack of confirmation we somehow nailed it.

@AllTimeLow is a band that was featured as Guitar Hero DLC in 2010 with a three pack of songs including: Dear Maria, Weightless (also appeared in Rock Band 2 DLC), and Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don’t) (Live). This week nabs two out of three songs leaving the live cut and tossing us Somewhere in Neverland.

Never heard of this band, and they will defenetly not be remembered. Elliot, can you please stop the ass-kissing of ubisoft/rocksmith? There have been way too many of these awful bands come out as dlc. Think everyone is tired of you trying to justify how great this music is. Its ok to not like something they put out son. But i guess if you truly like this music lately…god bless you….just please stop being the ubisoft puppet, makes you look really sad brother…

actually cub, your the one looking pretty sad. How do you know what Elliott likes, especially given that you “never heard of this band”. While it might not be your cup of tea, these songs were pretty popular with the young folk a little while back. Chances are, dlcs like these keep coming out because they sell well. If they are going to keep the lights on at Rocksmith studios they need to appeal to everyone not just packs you deem worthy
Not that I’m hijacking the thread, and not that the most recent spate of dlc has inspired me to go looking for gems I’ve overlooked in the store before, but for anyone still interested in snagging some old dlc from the first Rocksmith, I think that window is closed now.
I loaded up on Xbox $$$ the other day, waited until Tuesday before looking for more older dlc and noticed 80% of the store was gone. Thinking it was just a dlc-day glitch, I hopped on tonight to give it another shot.
Good news is, it looks like it’s back in order. The bad news? No more Rocksmith I dlc – DOH! No more Offspring, etc. Heck, even White Wedding is gone (ha ha, grabbed the last one!).
Does anybody know what’s up with that? Sorry, I’m not registered on any other Rocksmith forums but honestly, TRR really IS the place to be! Eh? EH?! 🙂

They are new to me as well, but my response was different. While I can scarcely contain my ambivalence for this week’s DLC, I hope you and others enjoy it.
I haven’t picked up a song pack in several weeks now. All crap IMO. I did pick up GH Live though recently, and the gameplay ROCKS!!! Love the immersion of the “Live” element with real people. I wish Rocksmith would follow suit, because I love shredding on a real guitar in front of a “Live” audience rather than “shredding” with a fake plastic guitar that requires no skill.

I want RS to make bank so they R&D some kick ass multiplayer. It is the ONLY game of it’s kind that has delivered on this concept in a realistic and fun fashion. That is how you get better products, by supporting the good stuff. So Ubi…r&d some mp ok?
What jim said! Ive only bought 4 of the 14 packs released and i still think rs is doing an EXCELLENT JOB catering to everyone. Didnt have enough interest in EWF (dislike disco) Kiss (found charts dull), All time low (not my kind of pop punk) but loved playing Modern blues, Social Distortion, Stone Roses, and Volbeat! Anyone who like more than one style of music should be happy to see rs constantly releasing different styles. And regarding rs making more money, who’s side are you on??? How much money they make is completely irrelevant to me…

Yeah I like the live version of Gravity better. Same goes for Vultures. Would like to even have his version of Another Kind of Green. That whole Try! CD was pretty good.
Hell yeah. The John Mayer trio is good too. He should have been in the blues back. Everyday I have the blues. They could do a whole new rocksmith with he’s discography and I’d pay the 60 no problem
Got to admit, I’m on board with that as well. I’d pay the 60. And no disrespect intended for the modern blues pack Ubisoft put out, but they really should have gone with the heavy hitters on that one. I can see Joe B being in that pack, however; we could always use more blues. Since Mayer has yet to make an appearance and we only have 1 song by Clark Jr., those 2 should have been on the pack.
…or at least make it a 5 pack. Seems whenever there’s a blues pack, we have a lot of positive comments. Can’t go wrong with the blues.

In it we have currently unreleased DLC from King, Hendrix, SRV, LLB, and Mayer. (could probably through ZZ Top in there too as Mr. Gibbons has admitted often about learning a lot from Hendrix.)
No. I am sorry again. I like this band. Catchy choices. Not a bad choice at all. They aren’t punk…they are just rock. I like both of the songs I played so far. I know I do this, but these unknown bands annoy me until I hear them WITHOUT their videos. This is as good as most of the other stuff on the game…and better than a bunch. I like it better than KISS…so there. Glad you can’t all throw food at me. I think as an old guy I forget that new stuff happens and everyone starts out somewhere. This is young music for younger people, but not a boy band. Also, I am not running for office so I reserve the right to flip-flop.
I’m happy for anyone here who likes this band but they’re not my cup of tea.
Maybe Ubi is busy putting together some expansions for the “Expansions” section of the game. Does anybody know what that menu option is all about?
Good God, that’s 3 pop punk song packs in almost 2 months. 4 if you include Brand New. I know you devs at Rocksmith read these comments and go to this website. Would you please stop posting this crap so often? I’m all for including a lot of genres of music, but there’s been enough of this lately. Please stop. This is the only genre of music I genuinely hate.
3? Social Distortion isn’t really considered pop punk by most people, and they sound pretty much nothing like All American Rejects or All Time Low. In any case, music game DLC favoring certain genres or eras for a couple months is just once in a while is just something that’s going to happen with all the licensing and other factors that go into scheduling, and it really doesn’t end up being a big deal long term.
I love punk, and grew up on Misfits, Bad Religion, Dag Nasty, Descendents and etc. but I just don’t see how this week’s artist has anything in common with punk. Pop, sure, but punk, no way. I mean, I know I’m old now, but these guys just sound like american idol radio garbage to me. Sorry to the 18% who are into this band – I’m glad you’ll enjoy it, and maybe one day the punk rockers can get some tracks too!
I’m still waiting for that Ramones pack. They gave us one good song on the disc over 2 years ago and called it a day. Where’s the punk love Rocksmith?

Never really got into these guys, they were kinda at the tail end of the pop punk scene. When It comes to pop punk, I’d rather have more yellowcard,the used, blink182 or sum 41. I know they are popular in the pop punk scene and will prob pick them up for variety/completionist sake. Id expect simple plan, good Charlotte or new found glory over these guys (not into to much of those bands either but thought they were a lot more popular then the band selected)
