Rocksmith 2014 DLC 1/14 – Oasis 5 Pack

Today’s Rocksmith 2014 DLC comes from the often controversial and world renowned Oasis.

Today’s 5 Pack of songs includes our first Capo Required DLC arrangement for Wonderwall!  Buyer beward, if you hate True Tunings (you know like the one you have to get to for Don’t Look Back in Anger) you’ll probably want to avoid this pack as that clearly wasn’t an isolated incident.

Interesting enough this DLC is being released at a time when not only are Noel and Liam seem to be reconciling (for a tour?) but as well have just put all their albums out on those streaming Spotify things you kids like.

Good work @CrossieRS!

  1. Changing your tuning for every song can be tedious, but last night I found out something interesting with my bass. The Songs “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, “Live Forever”, and “Some Might Say” are all close enough that when It took me in to the tuner, I just had to hit the notes and it said I was in tune.

  2. I’m getting so tired of having to re tune every time I switch to a different song.

to bad you can’t do multiple playlists by tuning!

  3. Ubisoft gets my money again. Anything 90’s alternative will be a no questions asked purchase for me. Weezer next please!

        1. Since it worked the last time… How about a 90’s alternative mix pack with Possum Kingdom by the Toadies and In The Meantime by Space Hog

  4. 5 classics! Live Forever is one of the greatest songs ever recorded in my opinion. Hardest part must have been picking only 5, they have about 20 tunes that would have be great.

  5. I would have preferred Morning Glory and Bring It On Down instead of Some Might Say and Live Forever. I will probably only get Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall and maybe Supersonic.

  6. What makes Oasis controversial? Also, why would people hate Oasis and then do the typical and annoying Metallica and AC/DC request?

    1. They always get press for saying bad things, that’s enough to be controversial these days. Anyway, I hate Oasis, can I has some Opeth? 😛
