This is beautiful. First Dethklock and now All that Remains. Next we need some Machine Head (Halo, Beautiful Mourning, and Unto The Locust?) Make a Dream Theater DLC…. Then finally get some of that The Human Abstract….. I can dream

Come on guys. Learn to appreciate other genres of music, such as this. I hate blues with a passion, but I still downloaded the blues pack because i figured if I learned it, it would help with my overall guitar skills and teach me to appreciate it more, which it did. At least give it a shot, you never know

300,000 notes a second guitar lines, pointlessly over the top double bass drum pedal and angry bloke shouting angrily about how angry he is. Modern metal – not my cup of tea at all.
Needs more Megadeth, Some Trivium would be a welcome addition. Video game or TV themes would go over well too.
Although every year is relative when you get old…I meant when it comes around…
I do wish they would release variety each week…I love most music but voting with your dollars is tough when you’ve gotta wait a week for new dlc. Exasperating!
I am so picky about my metal…and it is hard to find new stuff…though I check out gigantour every year looking for it…I would love some Hell Yeah! Or more Megadeth. Clean vocals eh? I might like this…
I’ve discovered a lot of new bands checking out Wacken Open air. It’s a concert done annually in Germany
U would think rocksmith could pay any band for any song for as much crap downloads most of you guys buy…maybe next week it will be extreme “more than words”… Junk
February 2015 DLC
Yes! One of the best metal bands and three of their best songs. The guitar work in these songs is amazing especially Six. I’m really glad you guys chose these three and not their newer stuff. Actually if you offered all of The Fall of Ideals id buy it.

This DLC is the equivalent of disappointment. Even the buttercup commercial is better than this.
I look at it this way… Ur at a party,having some beers sitting around a fire pit… Nobody I mean nobody wants to hear u break out any of this shit!!!… Unless u want to clear out the party!!
LOL… Odds are all the guests at your “party” would prefer an Ipod. A muddy rendition of a Tom Petty song on an acoustic guitar would be just as effective at clearing the party.
This is “ROCKsmith” btw … not “kumbaya-smith”. These tunes are great on acoustic, assuming you are good enough to play them.

I love those two bands, but I meant to say this bands like All That Remains sound absolutely awefull with those clean almost pop like vocals if you ask me. Being all heavy, drop tuned, metal as fuck and then come the cleans which absolutely kill it for me with every single band like that.

Im in the same boat. Cant stand clean vocals in heavy metal. Its a peeve of mine to hear something start out so heavy then they start to whine like little 10 year old girls.
I love metal but not so much the nu-metal/metalcore stuff that this sounds like (to me). Yes I’ve put in requests for the kind of thing I’d like. But this is a pass for me. I love the DethKlok pack still, so I’m not complaining. Especially after last weeks blues awesomeness.
I’ve always liked All That Remains, so I’m really happy. I would have wanted The Waiting One, but you can’t win em’ all.

Great band. Disappointing pack. Would have significantly preferred Stand Up or The Last Time over This Calling and Two Weeks. Still, probably will pick up Six and Two Weeks. Glad to see this band getting represented at least.
I still have faith that one day, one wonderful Tuesday morning, I will wake up to a Five Finger Death Punch pack *fingers crossed*

I’m not saying that will never happen but aren’t their songs mostly in B tuning? In the dethklok live stream and Brendon Small interview, Dan said there are no plans yet for anything lower than C tuning. It might be a long while before you get that pack.

To me, Five Finger Death Punch is everything that is wrong with the modern metal scene. They are incredibly overrated, and I don’t understand why they have such a large fanbase. Well, I kind of do…they’re just the Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber of metal.
And their cover songs are awful and self-serving.
Everything wrong with AMERICAN heavy metal, IMO… I would love to see some At the Gates, Annihilator, Children of Bodom, Etc…. Symphony X would be cool, though. I remember seeing them locally at the VFW in Brick, NJ. They played with Dilinger Escape Plan, who also we’re still yet to be signed.
They’re popular because they’re on the military band wagon. Im not a fan of them.
I’m not normally a 5FDP fan, but there are a few songs of theirs that I would pick up if they were made available.
I’m pretty open minded when it comes to music but this gets a pass……. Hopefully everyone will shut up about ‘more metal’ now!
