Bit of band news, gang — I just found out this content will not be available in the SCEE territories until next week. The revised date is August 24. Looks like it’s on Ubisoft’s side this time; a fix didn’t get applied in time.

Don’t know how to comment on a comment.. But this goes to my post below… My PS3 finally craped out .. And ps4 was only $200 at Kmart??… So why not upgrade.. Plus I got $30 for my 2 old rs games and got the ps4 version for $30… So it wasn’t that bad

Not so happy for me here, in Brazil. A PS4 costs 4000 Real (about 1141 US dollars) .

Ok I see what’s going. This is to satisfy the masses until a proper full pack can be issued. While I like “Rock of Ages” there are other songs I’d have picked for DL. Same goes for “Go Your Own Way”. Makes me think a pack from each band is on the way possibly this fall.

For Kansas, the only other song I know by them is Carry On Wayward Son, and for Jet, was never a big fan of the song but it looks like it would be fun to play.
In all, this seems like a nice pack of songs. And once again, Ubisoft seems to be mixing things up a bit. These past few months have begun to put a beat down on the wallet.

Completely agree with those songs, I would trade let’s get rocked for Let it Go,but until DL re-record those songs, we’ll probly never get them.

I dont own anything for fleetwood miss time and money but with my new jobs ill get more money , thheres à disc shop on rue Bélanger in montreal my secret place you can have cassette , vynil or cd , used or new under 7.99 and those are new the price goes 1.99 to 5.99 for CD ,vinyl i dont know price goes up those last year and the only used CD that didnt work was skid row slave to the grind the 3 last song ( i certainly didnt bought the album for quicksand jesus … :‘( ..) 1 on 60-70 thats enough good i can find almost anything before 2000

This for me makes it the pack of the year so far behind all that remain , thin lizzy if it wasnt dance in the moonlight would be à tough choice , anthrax and classic riff with ace of spade….

OK, good pack and I’ve always loved listening to “dust in the wind” but playing it on bass sux. If it’s octave bouncing I’d rather be putting down some boogie. Lol

Just picked up the ps4 version…. It really sucks that u got to start over on all songs…. At least I’ll level up faster this time around

Our skills will also transfer to the next RS game and we will save money by not buying RS2014 twice and will have longer to save up for a ps4. That being said… I still considered doing it, lol. 🙂

Rocksmith 2021 sounds more likely with the Xbox Two and PS5 launch.
That would be awesome, then I could skip ps4 entirely and go straight to a ps5, lol.
I love waiting every Tuesday with my thumb in my butt for the psn store to make the songs available for purchase. I’m glad I’m not a slapper or I’d have to change my strings every Wednesday.

Definitely in for Dust In The Wind and Go Your Own Way. Dust was one of my first songs I learned years ago and I want to encourage more Fleetwood Mac DLC.
I’ll pass on the other 2. I hate that Jet song. I remember back when it was still really popular and it wouldn’t stop playing everywhere. I feel like I heard it enough times to suit a lifetime during that period. Def Leppard on the other hand is decent, but isn’t my thing. I just don’t really like Hair/Glam metal. No edge, nothing real to say, and a little too bubblegum rock for me.
Great singles pack though. I think it will make all of people happy.
Dust in the wind and Go your own way I like, the other 2 I’m not bothered with.

Go Your Own Way is just such a repetitive song that I’ve just heard entirely too many times over the years so playing it is unappealing to me.
Whoever plays the songs in these preview videos really needs to practice more.
It is as it should have been whenever it wasn’t what it was. Ergo it holds that all is sold.
In for at least two–maybe more depending on difficulty.
I may get Jet now and put Kansas / Fleetwood Mac on the ol’ Steam wishlist. But, if the chart for Rock of Ages is fun, maybe I’ll get that, too.

Aww hells yeah!!! Can’t remember the last week I didn’t buy the DLC. Keep em coming Rocksmith and thanks for the pack information RiffRepeater. Go your Own Way has a good bass line, not totally sure about the others but I really enjoy these songs so I am in!
Personally I am liking the variety we are getting with the singles packs.
I have seen a lot of bands I would like to be in a pack though… can we form a union or something where we support each others requests?
Because “strength in numbers” would mean eventually everyone would have Ubisoft contacting the artists they want in the game.
Then maybe we would get a pack from an Australian band that is good but doesn’t get the world wide appeal that other bands get.
Like for example if every one goes and requests Tame Impala Songs tonight I will support a band you like even if I don’t like them or know them.
Just a thought.

To be honest, I have real difficutly telling the two versions apart. I have the same trouble with the Verve’s “Bitter Sweet Symphony” and the Stones’ “The Last Time”: they’re pretty interchangeable for me, so either one will do.
I was thinking about Dust In The Wind yesterday and how I was surprised it wasn’t on RS yet… go figure.
I’m not a big DF fan but I’m glad to see they’ll get another tune for their legions of fans. I absolutely loathe that Jet song though… maybe it’s more fun to play than to hear but, I’m not very optimistic.
