i’m pissed i was hyped up about this paid the 12bucks plus tax and its REQUIRED I NEED A F*CKIN CAPO regardless they cost 5 bucks but that’s another dlc song this is the last dlc pack i buy for a long time if i ever even do again i can’t even get past 20% on 3am cause i miss just about every note that i hit cause of a stupid piece of plastic that didnt even come with the game and isnt required for any other songs

One of the Stones songs (Paint It Black?) also uses a capo on the alt. lead and alt. rhythm charts if you want to get more use out of it.
But if you really can’t afford the investment, you could always manufacture one out of rubber bands and a pencil, or simply persuade a close friend to apply an appendage of their choice to the required fret.

thanks for the tip i havent touched paint it black or many other on disc songs since most are garbage i bought a junk one on ebay for 5 bucks if it weren’t one of my favorite songs i wouldn’t care about the capo

you do know you can learn to play songs that also use capo’s away from rocksmith?
I see a capo as a handy piece of kit to have lying around, much like a bigsby, your not going to use it on “EVERY” song, but its hell handy to have when you need it.
I use a sock when I don’t have a capo on hand… Sock also can be used as a mute.

This isn’t my cup of tea but for all the people who gripe every time new DLC is released here is a thought. … instead of spending time bitching about bands you want to play not being in rocksmith. Why don’t you spend that time constructively and do it the old way and listen to the songs you want to learn or easier still spend that time finding the tab for songs you want to play. Either way is a better use of your time than sitting, crying at a keyboard because you havent got the DLC you want.

Actually I have never been into this band, but after checking the songs
they at least seem the type of songs I have fun playing in RS. I have noticed
that certain music I love to listen, I hate to play it. And the opposite seems
to be also true… I may buy a couple of these.
I’ve actually found that out too. Some of the songs on the disc I initially avoided, but after some time playing the stuff I like to listen too, the others were pretty decent, if nothing else, it has opened my eyes to other generes.
I’m thrilled. 1)I love 90s music. 2) I can actually play these songs.
Could have done without she’s so mean for Bent, but I also don’t know many of their deep cuts, based off my radio knowledge of them, this is a pretty good pack.

Probably that getting the top guitarists in-game as DLC is as cheap and easy as just snapping ones fingers so why are they offering Matchbox 20 DLC instead?
apperently joe satriani is bust… i think he wud be happy to have his music licenced out… dont know bout his label though…. one song just aint eneough … i have been learning “ten words” by tablature and wishing i could play it on rs2014… i would learn it so much faster…

I tell you what…I was hesitant when I first read it could be Mb20, ….but I’ve got to admit…. 4 out of 5 of those songs are awesome to hear again, and I didn’t appreciate the guitar riffs in them that I can hear these days…takes me back to my teenage years when I hear them.
IMHO this is a honest good all round pack, RS has my money $$$ for this one.

They couldn’t have gone with blander songs relative to their library 😕 Still a buy for me, but certainly not with the excitement something like Soul, Bent or Real World would add. Let this be a lesson Rocksmith: don’t just go down the list of most popular songs on iTunes (as it would appear)

Apparently the deal with those bands was licensing, and it seems like the situation was appropriate for a five pack, so that doesn’t apply 100%. And no, they aren’t a one hit band. They definitely got(/get) more airplay than SOAD

Would it really matter less to you if it was just a 3 pack? They still released Matchbox 20 this week either way. If you’re bitter because bands you like didn’t get a 5 pack, that’s one thing; to be sad that someone else is getting 5 songs from possibly one of their favorite bands, well, that doesn’t make sense to me.
