Continuing with Rocksmith’s two months of weekly DLC we have three songs from the indie/garage rock stylings of The Strokes!
The Strokes Song Pack – $7.99/ Steam
- The Strokes “Reptilia” – Single Note / Combo / Combo 2 – [XBL] / Steam
- The Strokes “Last Nite” – Combo / Combo 2 – [XBL] / Steam
- The Strokes “Juicebox” – Combo / Combo 2 – [XBL] / Steam
That makes four tracks by The Strokes available for play on Rocksmith! What are some other artists from the main setlist that could use some DLC love?

sorry I mean nate
someday nick. I just hope they pick songs that are fun to play from those bands not just there hits.
Mastodon, Slayer, and more Deep Purple!!! Can I get an AMEN?
Pink Floyd mega pack!
More Muse, Soundgarden, Nirvana, White Stripes, and Red Hot Chilli Peppers would be great.
I don't think it's to do with old overplayed singles. I think it's more to do with Avenged Sevenfold. Every music game that has released at least 1 song by them has had the community complaining until their whole discography is present on said game. Note that it doesn't start until the first song is announced/releasedc.
Huh?
I haven't seen anyone say Avenged Sevenfold yet, the most requested seems to be Metallica and they haven't had a song announced nor released.
Well, we all know why is it that we do not have any Metallica music. Metallica is probably the most "commercial" band out there, but the simple fact of releasing Guitar Hero Metallica ended up screwing us all once the music games became what Rocksmith is. That said, we will not see any Metallica, Green Day, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Van Halen or The Beatles music in Rocksmith any time soon and probably never will. In fact, I think it would be even easier for Ubisoft to get music from Pink Floyd due to the fact that the entire band (except for Nick Mason) has stated their interest in taking their music into a video game, but again, Nick has always been the one refusing the idea; He pretty much said: "If kids spent this much time playing real instruments rather than these plastic guitars I bet they would have been so damn good musicians right now" (referring to Guitar Hero/Rock Band). So my thoughts are, if Rocksmith is now out, than why doesn't Nick give it a try then? Probably Rocksmith is just the game he needs!
I was simply refuting his statement, I've read that article too.
I agree with Mike, the community of Rocksmith is too obsessed with old overplayed singles to recognize there is other music besides the cliche.
