Feature improvements / New features

• Search page
  • When entering the Search page, the search box will now be in focus by default (finally)
• Settings
  • A new option has been added to allow you to customize your string colors.
    • This is available under the “My Instrument” section of the settings, after you select the “Custom Colors” preset

this was a big ask from the first day of the beta, glad it was implemented and hope it helps our colour blind friends 🙂

• Languages
  • The option to set your in-game language to Japanese has been re-enabled

and yet the service isn’t available in Japan… Okay

• Rocksmith Workshop
  • The tone list now shows tones that are already used in the project
  • Keyboard shortcuts are now displayed in tooltips
  • Added new key commands: Shift + Home/End to select from cursor to beginning/end of the song
  • Added a support for changing the sustain duration for multiple selected notes at once
  • Added new options to the import dialog (keep original tempo, add count-in measure)
  • Added error check for mismatched bend values on linked notes
• Creator Portal website
  • Added a “Verified” filter to the “My Projects” page to see all the arrangements you’ve made that have been verified by Ubisoft transcriptionists
  • Arrangements made for songs that later become regionally restricted will be greyed out, rather than being hidden

Major Known Issues

• Audio Input

  • The game may crash when selecting ASIO with a Sound Blaster sound card

• Lessons

  • The Lefty flip option in the video player can make some text hard to read

• Notable Issues

  • The Real Tone Cable may not be recognized when it is plugged in while the game is running
    • Solution: There may be a driver-related issue. Try connecting the cable before the game starts.
  • “Connect with a cable” dialogue box does not close after plugging in the RTC
    • Workaround: Return to the Input selection screen and re-select RTC.
  • Pausing and unpausing a song with the Rocksmith+ Connect app while looking at the Skills / Chords window may cause navigation to not work
  • Voice overs are desynced for all languages on the “Open Strings” guitar lesson
  • Keyboard arrow keys cannot be used when the mouse cursor is over the search bar
  • Equipping a new instrument model then restarting your game may show the previous instrument model
  • Miscellaneous crashes (tickets at the bottom)

• Rocksmith Workshop

  • The metronome may go out of sync when minimizing the Rocksmith+ window
  • Rocksmith Workshop may take over a while to load
  • Metronome panning does not work
  • When dragging a tempo event, the playhead icon may appear incorrectly
  • Ending a playtest in the Workshop will not reopen the Workshop tab

• Rocksmith+ Connect

  • Note detection in Note-By-Note with Samsung microphones is too lenient
  • The Submit button cannot be selected in the App Rating pop-up

• Search

  • Search results filter display reverts to “Song Name A-Z” after playing a song

  There’s more than that to fix with search…

• Song Details

  • The explicit song flag is shown on songs that have already been censored

• Subscription

  • Subscriptions may be unavailable to purchase in India
  • Users in some regions may be unable to redeem codes from Ubisoft
  • The game cannot be played from “My subscription overlay screen” after purchasing a subscription plan

• Tutorial

  • Game sometimes crashes after a long period of time on the “Which genres do you like?” screen in the tutorial

  • In the tutorial noteway, you can’t interact with the Settings button on the Pause screen with your mouse
