Rocksmith+ update brings new songs from Santana, Mercyful Fate, Pixies, and more!

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Last night (November 17th, 2022) there was a patch update for Rocksmith+ which included new songs, arrangements, and of course new artists.

Let’s take a look at the patch notes:

Feature improvements / New features

  • Connection Settings
    • The “Audio Engine Buffer Size” and “ASIO Device Buffer Size” options are now available in the “More Settings” menu

This is going to solve a lot of “my interface” issues for sure

  • Noteway
    • The way arpeggio zones are displayed has been simplified
      • The arpeggio zone style can be changed under Settings > Game Options > Gameplay > Noteway Display > Arpeggio Zone Style

The most complained about thing is actually getting fixed? Only took three updates!

    • Pressing Space will now open the Riff Repeater menu to match how this worked in Rocksmith 2014

Should have been the way from day one but we will take it

Major Bug Fixes

  • Audio
    • The sound effect used to censor explicit audio has been replaced by ducking the audio, so the explicit language is no longer heard

How about a way to disable the censorship altogether if it’s being done by the game 🤔

Song Library Website

  • Fixed an issue where filters got reset after clicking the back button

    • Tones sound different in the Workshop compared to what they sound like after arrangement submission

    • The launch time for the workshop is too long

    • Keyboard arrows cannot be used for navigation if the mouse cursor is over the search bar
    • Search results filter display reverts to A-Z after completing a song

    • Users in certain regions may be unable to purchase a subscription or redeem a code

    • The game may crash sometimes after a long period of time on the “Which genres do you like?” step
