  1. Songs without guitar for people learning to play guitar. It sometimes seems as Rocksmith might hate its customers and right now that feeling is mutual.

    1. Wow. That’s a pretty heavy statement, considering all the material from various genres and software updates that have been release over the years.

      1. I did say “right now” since I dont hate Rocksmith in general. Quite the opposite. But come on! Guitarless songs for learning guitar?! Or because they are popular in the world of charts and mtv?!?!

  2. I was gonna get the whole pack, but after watching the charts now I’m DEFINITELY getting the whole pack! lolz

The songs are catchy and I like Gaga, but even though they look pretty easy they also look really fun. This looks a great pack on guitar.

    A couple of notes:
    – I think it might be possible to FC vocals on Bad Romance on Rock Band by mic’ing my amp with the RB mic. 🙂 It will be fun to try, and it’s pretty cool that it looks like they charted the vocal line to guitar in RS
    – Cranking up some metal-ey distortion and playing Poker Face along to RS is gonna be a goofy great time!

  3. I would love to see Rocksmith’s sales charts for DLC. I have no interest in these songs, but I’m curious if they’re more popular than I would expect them to be.

  4. If I played random chords with no idea of progression they would still be more interesting than this. This is the bottom for rock smith can only get better

  5. Cheer up everyone, look on the bright side. There’s so much to learn from this pack: how to never use a guitar, how to not write songs, how to lose friends and irritate people. The point is we need to have total and utter garbage like this in order to have a better idea of what is truly good and I applaud Rocksmith for making this decision

  6. Rocksmith has officially just jumped the shark. Go ahead, Elliot…. I can’t wait to see you defend this DLC drivel.

      1. This is a not-so-serious comment referencing my preferred flavor of Gaga–as stated in this past weekend’s “Song Speculation” thread. (Kid Kudi, Kanye, Common)

  7. I’m getting Poker Face and will probably get Bad Romance too so no real complaints from me but if we are getting pop acts from time to time then RS can feel free to employ me as their song selection consultant ?

  8. Although I don’t have any intention of buying any of these songs, I like that they try with different genres.

  9. I don’t need two versions of “Bad Romance” and I’m sick of “Poker Face”. “Born this way” would have been nice. I like Gaga but this pack is just “ehh” in my opinion.

  10. I certainly wasn’t expecting the next batch of RS DLC I got would be Gaga, but this is a good set of songs. I wonder if this will mostly be similar to Rock Band’s choices as far as how the synth parts get transcribed for guitar.

  11. The truth, I was surprised by the choice of songs, I thought they would be more focused on songs with guitar. Paparazzi is just my favorite song from Lady Gaga so I’ve had a nice surprise, we’ll see what the arrangements are like, but for the moment I can say that I’ll surely give her an opportunity.
