  1. well, and I’ll steal a Meatloaf title here since it seems very apropos here.. Two outta three ain’t bad.

  2. D’oh
Thats 3 strikes. This week is out. Next up 5-15. C’mon baby daddy wants a new pack of tunes

  3. Anther great 80s pack! Ya know, I was one of those “I hate disco” kind of idiot rock -n- rollers back in the day, even though I’ve always had eclectic tastes. These days I love the variety in music and have opened up my mind enough to enjoy all kinds of good music! I’ll be groovin’ to this whole pack. Great work Rocksmith, keep the jams coming!

  4. First off, lets start with the rathers.
For the next 80s mix, hope to see Zapp’s Doo Wah Ditty or Carl Carlton’s She a Bad Mama Jama
Styx – a radio friendly/short edit of Come Sail Away. (love the song but don’t want to wait so long for the guitars to kick in)

Now with that out of the way, my uncle would have been proud to see all of this EWF over the past couple of years. He was a huge fan, so in regard, I grew up hearing a lot Maurice and Philip. Glad to see a new addition. (<–btw, yes i love them too)

Styx are one of those bands, kind of like BTO and Thin Lizzy, where I've heard the songs but never paid attention to who sang it. Not a bad choice.

And the capper, this is the only other song by Billy Squire that I know and hoped to see. It was actually the purchase of Rocksmith a few years back that caused me to put the tab for this song down. Glad to have another shot.

In all, a good mix of styles.

    1. There are definately some zappa tunes iwant them to get, for various reasons but Joe’s garage (I’d take all 3 discs but we all know that wont happen) that song is always getting stuck in my head. Which leads us straight into catholic girls…

      1. While there are quite a few Z’s on our wish-list (Zapp, ZZ Top, Zappa), it’s true, I believe you’re thinking of a different Z.

I’m talking Zapp featuring Roger Troutman, a famous funk band from highly unfamous Dayton, Ohio. (without too many details I have a right to badmouth the city)

Anyway, Zapp had hits such as More Bounce to the Ounce, So Ruff So Tuff, Heard it Through the Grapevine, and a song that I’m sure some folks in this community may have been conceived during, Computer Love.

(Hope this isn’t being posted twice. I didn’t see the other message show up.)
