Feature improvements / New features

• Audio
  • New background music is available in the Hub. This consists of songs that are used in Rocksmith Discover content, and Lessons

I was skeptical but then I turned it back on, some great stuff that would be cool to learn *hint* *hint*

• Connection Settings
  • You can now change the input channel on WASAPI interfaces
  • The meter shown in the “Turn Up and Play” pop-up now reflects your input volume. For an optimal experience, you want your input volume to be at the 4th tick mark

Good stuff!

• Lessons
  • There are three new lessons for Intermediate Lead Guitar. These new lessons are under the “Advanced Double Stops” section.

• Rocksmith Workshop
  • Added an intro slideshow, which gives users a brief introduction to the Workshop the first time they open it
    • Note: returning users will see the slideshow the first time they launch RSW after this update
    • If you wish to rewatch the slideshow, you can do so at any time by clicking the “Help” button at the top of the window, and clicking “Workshop Overview”
  • Added the ability to select and move multiple tempo events at once
  • Double clicking count-in events now opens the inspector panel
  • Improved ability to edit duration of multiple selected notes
  • Updated the appearance of muted notes and strums for greater consistency
  • Added a warning for unnecessary linked notes
  • Added a warning when the user creates repeated chord zones instead of strums
  • Added a warning when FPZ or ARP zone fingerings don’t match notes

No Select All fix yet, maybe January then…

Major Bug Fixes

• Audio

  • Fixed a bug that caused the song results screen to not have any background music

• Rocksmith+ Connect

  • Adjusted the wording of the error message shown when Rocksmith+ Connect fails to connect to the PC game to add some troubleshooting steps
  • The note detection with the app has been improved

  Some people can’t connect though 🤔

• Video player

  • Removed the automatic flipping of videos when you have your handedness set to Left

Major Known Issues

• Connection Settings

  • The “More Settings” button is missing from the “Let’s connect your instrument” window after the Real Tone Cable is disconnected and reconnected while in the tuner
  • There is no audio when using Sonic Studio Virtual driver

• Customization

  • Equipped instrument model reverts to the previously edited model after reboot

• Learn

  • Changing from windowed to full screen in the Learn menu cuts off certain options

• Miscellaneous

  • Softlock may occur when rearranging monitors using 4K resolution
  • Playing on laptop speakers may cause audio latency
  • After submitting a new arrangement, you may need to restart your game to see it show up in game
  • Some background noise can be heard on bass notes with midi playback enabled

• Rocksmith Workshop

  • The new warning when a user creates repeated chord zones instead of strums is too strict and triggers when the user is making a chord zone with a technique that cannot be applied to a strum like a slide or bend
  • When in the introduction slideshow, you are unable to move or resize the Workshop window
  • Tones sound different in the Workshop compared to what they sound like after arrangement submission
  • The metronome may break when minimizing the Rocksmith+ window
  • The time it takes to launch the Workshop is too long
  • Midi playback may not be pitched correctly
  • Metronome panning does not work
  • The playhead may move at the same time when dragging a tempo marker
  • Ending a playtest will not reopen the workshop tab
  • Audio corrupt may occur when you use audio exclusivity in the Workshop on some devices

• Search

  • Keyboard arrows cannot be used for navigation if the mouse cursor is over the search bar
  • Search results filter display reverts to A-Z after completing a song

• Settings

  • When changing from Guitar to Bass then back to Guitar, the incorrect tone is applied

  Yep

• Song Details

  • The left or right navigation buttons in the Song Details panel do not work as intended

  This sucks, I wonder why it broke this update

• Subscription

  • Users in certain regions may be unable to purchase a subscription or redeem a code
  • The game cannot be played from the My Subscription overlay screen after purchasing any plan

• Tutorial

  • The game may crash sometimes after a long period of time on the “Which genres do you like?” step
