Rocksmith Remastered DLC 11/15/2016 – Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble

Hello Rocksmith fans!

The end of 2016 is approaching and it seems like some exciting licenses have cleared if we are getting a Top 40 Artist like Stevie Ray Vaughan in mid-November!

In our previous article we discovered that both Texas Flood and Pride and Joy would be a part of the pack. Now we know the rest of the pack as revealed here (Xbox AU) will consist of three tracks from Couldn’t Stand The Weather (1984) including the title track, Scuttle Buttin, and Cold Shot!

Scuttle Buttin has never been in a music game, good work @UbisoftStudioSF.

Of course, when you have only five songs for an artist like SRV you are going to miss out on a fan favourite or an obvious choice, but hey… This is a good start!

Stevie sure liked his Eb Standard…

I would love to play SRV! Can it be that the songs and packs are still not available in the PS3 store?

Riff Repeater

No, it’s on PS3. I can’t link you to it because I don’t know what region you are in

Dirk B

I can see it now in the store. Thanks for your reply anyway. 🙂

MrGroupp

So why Elison didnt make videos of dlc? If there was information about this already, but i missed it, will be grateful to those who linked it

Riff Repeater

Didn’t feel like he could do it justice

Couldn’t stand the wait! Finally, a Stevie Ray Vaughan 5 pack to play on Rocksmith. That is a great amount of Pride and Joy for me. I have been scuttle Buttin’ around for years waiting for this pack surviving numerous Texas Floods and pounding many a Cold Shots in anticipation of this release which will greatly entertain me for that day that I Couldn’t Stand the Weather.

Been reviewing Live in Austin, Texas, and live at El Mocambo all weekend. (Live at Montruex is a hard pill to swallow as its annoying to see people boo this legend).

True, they have missed a few favorites, but there’s only so much you can do with just 5 songs. This is a GREAT start.

YES SRV!!!

dallasdave

Solid pack – very happy, and you know that doesn’t happen often! 🙂

gorination

That is a solid set list from SRV. IDK how anyone could be upset about it.

MarleySantana

Sure we can. The greedy ones among us can say, “Why not 12 songs” This artist deserves it. 🙂

gorination

Oh the artist deserves 4 packs like they did with Hendrix, but we went from almost nothing from him to 5 of his most famous songs. Just saying im ecstatic with the addition and couldnt say enough good things about RS’s dev team for fighting for the additions

Wisenheimer

“Couldn’t stand the weather”, hell yeah…nice! Thank you Rocksmith. 🙂

Cold Shot’s the lame one in the pack as far as I’m concerned. But you get a free one for buying the pack so may as well get it all.

Getting this day one and a bottle of whiskey

If I did not currently live in an apartment complex with poor structuring between floors, I would be absolutely shrieking my head off with glee right now.
