Hello, Rocksmith fans!
Hope you have your costumes ready for the weekend, as we end this month with looking back at the DLC that Rocksmith hath bestowed upon us. Let’s have a look at what the month had to offer, shall we?
First, here are the results of last month’s DLC poll:
A lot of people showed up to support The Doors! Also a surprising tie between Earth Wind & Fire and Breaking Benjamin. Don’t worry Brand New and AAR, I still think you’re super!
October was an interesting month of DLC, we had the return of KISS with their second three pack, the addition of three new Blues Rock artists, pop-punk courtesy of All Time Low, and finally another four pack of various Spooky singles, including the highly requested Hocus Pocus by Focus!
Some interesting yet approachable bass charts were delivered this month courtesy of KISS, Billy Talent, Focus, Motörhead, Philip Sayce and of course the keytar madness of Oingo Boingo!
Gene is a straight up Rock bassist but he can groove a bit
A great bass riff with a lot of movement awaits those who don’t mind Drop D
While not as crazy as the guitar part, the low end still delivers
Easy, easy the only time Lemmy is gonna be easy
Very Hendrixy
Don’t worry Maxx, not everyone can play this chart like Shane Gann
Guitarists definitely had their fair share of challenging charts with the addition of artists like Joe Bonamassa and Focus, but novice guitarists could still find enjoyment in accessible charts from artists like KISS, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and yes even All Time Low.
For The Love of Joe! This track isn’t easy, it’s a monstrous endeavour.
Jan would be proud
Nothing too difficult with a satisfying yet somewhat challenging solo? KISS delivers!
Haters will always hate but this is a REALLY fun chart and it’s catchy!
Blocked on YouTube, yay!
October has a new champion and it’s Eb Standard!
Arrangement | E Standard | Drop D | Eb Standard | Eb Drop Db |
Lead | 3 | 4 | 5 | 1 |
Rhythm | 4 | 3 | 5 | 1 |
Bass | 3 | 4 | 5 | X |
Alt. Lead | 1 | 1 | X | X |
Hey, who put this here?
This all brings one question to mind:
See you next month!
