  1. I was never a fan of this group, but this pack has totally loved, was also appreciate other packs like pearl jam …

  2. I am looking forward to playing Rope and Monkey Wrench. If I recall, the bass lines are fairly vanilla, but still solid rock fun.

  3. Has anyone heard if the developers are having issues sending the DLC to PS3 systems? I have yet to see this pack show up on either the in-game shop or the PSN store, and I have noticed that starting with the KSE songs, every DLC pack has been taking much longer than normal to release in the in-game shop; on top of that, the PSN store page for the game is still showing the KSE pack as the most recent release. Everything seems to be showing up without issue in the PSN store for the PS4, though.

  4. Wanna why why have a Foo Fighters II? Because Dave Grohl is F*CKING COOL. Do you watch Sonic Highways on HBO? He genuinely cares about THE MUSIC and would do anything to spread the music if it meant sharing his music on games like Rocksmith to inspire others.

  5. Jack Edison I wonder that as well, in the previous pack there is a song with a bonus rythm(best of you) and another song where the part is more important in the song but wasn't part of the pack(walk). Wich to me is odd.

  6. I'm loving the Sonic Highways show, and Foo Fighters are certainly the flavor of the month at the moment, so it makes sense to release this now. But honestly, other than their first record, I find their music incredibly dull. It will sell well, I'm sure, but for me, I struggle with them having two packs when Queens of the Stone Age, for example, don't have any yet.

  7. Sorry for being off topic, but are the Rocksmith forums down?

I got a message saying my IP was banned, which can’t be right. I never even log in–because it is such a pain–I just read about the upcoming dlc.

Anyway, I clicked a link to ‘contact the administrator’ and it just sent me to a FAQ about common problems with the game, with no contact options.

  8. Brian Rudnick That leaves one to wonder how essential Mr. Smear really is to The Foo Fighters.

Maybe it is that he is in the band merely to cover any mistakes Mr. Grohl may make while trying to simultaneously sing and play guitar live?

  9. I love this pack and can't wait to buy it. Sure would be nice if Ubisoft would get it together so I could download new DLC and finally move all my songs in that previously purchased on my 360 like they originally promised!

  10. Would have liked DOA but will get a few of these. Still want the Nirvana Pack. I think Rocksmith intentionally dodges some of the more popular songs in some of the packs.(seriously no This Fire in the KSE pack or Metalingus in the Alter Bridge pack?). I also want a Dethklok pack but the track record it wouldn’t have thunderhorse or Biological Warfare

  11. I’m surprised to see so many people say they aren’t into the Foo Fighters. There hasn’t been a better rock n roll band in my generation than the foo fighters. They have done so much for American rock music. Dave Grohl is an amazing musician that has worked very hard to get where he is. Yet at the end of the day he still has that same passion that originally drove him to create the foo fighters after the demise of Nirvana. Some people say “without Nirvana we wouldn’t have had the grunge scene in the 90’s” (or something else similar). However my thinking is that with Nirvana we wouldn’t have had the Foo Fighters!!!

If you don’t like this band, I would encourage you to go see them live. Not only will you get your money’s worth on the ticket price, I think you’ll leave that concert a foo fighters fan for life. How could you not be a fan when you see how much energy they bring to every show!

This pack will be an instant buy the second Xbox one lets me download DLC. (All your former DLC will come over from previous consoles…..still remains to be seen at my house)!

    1. I agree 100%! Dave Grohl and Jack White are the leaders of this generation’s rock movement imo.

I’ve never been a big Nirvana fan, and while it’s sad that Kurt Cobain died, I like the Foo Fighters a lot more. I’m willing to bet that Nirvana would have faded into nothingness before too long anyway, so in that regard I’m happy it worked out for Grohl.

      1. Are you serious Nirvana would fade into nothingness only if Kurt wanted to stop making music but if he recorded to this day I bet he would be selling a lot more records than Taylor Swift

        1. I disagree. Nirvana would have lost relevance as “grunge” died off. They would have remained popular with people who grew up on them, but I think that’s it. Just like a lot of the other grunge bands. And as much as I hate to say it, Taylor Swift would still be outselling them. Pop music sucks but it always grosses high sales.

          1. listen to the unplugged cd this proved that Kurt was probably a John Lennon of the nineties and was capable of going beyond the grunge label he was forced to wear. Dave Grohl is probably the Paul Mccartney to Cobain thats why they didn’t get along

  12. I don’t really listen to this band much, but it would be a good pack to have if I ever want to convince my friends to play Rocksmith with me.

  13. Stacked Actors is my favorite Foo Fighters song, but it’s in a lower tuning than any song we currently have in Rocksmith (I believe it’s in B standard or C#-standard Drop-B?), so I suspect we’ll never get it.

  14. I’m a bit of an Indie rock snob, so never bought Foo Fighters albums, but did enjoy learning the songs in the 1st pack especially the Rhythem arrangements. Found them fun to play and learned a lot as a mediocre player. Excited for a new batch of their tunes to play.

      1. I don’t get it…a few people keep saying “White Limo,” but that is my absolute least favorite Foo Fighters track. I think it’s a screamy, awful mess. :/

Cool guitar part, but that’s where my interest ends personally.

  15. I’m hoping since Paul Cross loves Rise Against that pack 2 will make it as well or just more punk like Bad Religion, Green Day, Offspring, Clash

  16. Too bad they put “Long road to ruin” until of “Stacked Actors/Breakout/All My Life”

Same thing for “Wheels” in the first Foo Fighters pack.

  17. I love this pack (and the first pack). I'm ready for Pack 3(4, 5, 6, however many packs with Foo Fighters songs you want to throw at me). So many songs I love by them. Would love to get February Stars and Aurora (2 of my favorite songs), though they aren't hits.

  18. Seriously, why not Queen Pack 2, Judas Priest Pack 2, The Clash Pack 2, Tom Petty Pack 2, Iron Maiden Pack 2, Bob Dylan Pack 2, Def Leppard Pack, Alice Cooper Pack, The Cult Pack, Scorpions Pack, Toto Pack, David Bowie Pack, Mötley Crüe Pack, Ramones Pack, Kinks Pack?

    1. Because, (A) The RS team were granted the rights to these songs, (B) They have a new album out and a TV series and (C) they are guaranteed to sell well. I don’t like this band much, I don’t see what the fuss is about but from a business point of view it makes total sense. Look how many people are stoked on it, it is the vast majority.
I would have preferred any of the packs you suggested too, apart from Motley Crue and Tom Petty.

  19. Great pack! I’m actually quite surprised there aren’t any tracks from Sonic Highways. Odd.

Can’t wait to download this and rock out!!!
