Rocksmith Remastered DLC 1/3/2017 – U2

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Hope you enjoyed your New Years Eve, and New Years Day (heh heh) as we are getting right back into the DLC schedule with a five pack from the the legendary Dublin, Ireland rock outfit, @U2!

Choosing five songs from a discography as rich as U2’s is a thankless task as obviously your favourite track is going to be left out, regardless of this the songs they picked are definitely all hits from U2 that you should enjoy listening to, and learning on Guitar and Bass!

This is Brendan West’s true test!

U2 Song Pack – $11.99 / Steam

Are you ready for some Edgy guitar riffs? Or is this the first pass of 2016, let us know!

I think I kinda would have liked The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone).

Great pack! Good song selection, but also hoping for a second pack with Pride, New Years Day, Ultraviolet and/or Bullet the Blue Sky. But second packs for Maiden, Police, Clash hopefully before.

The band is cool and the songs are fine.
OTOH, the bass parts play out pretty lame within Rocksmith.
I need to break out the 6 string guitar and give it another go.

I can understand my fav song not being included (2 hearts) but not new years day? And when it’s the first pack of the new year?

Hope pack 2 is not that long away, but i’m still waiting for maiden pack 2 and police pack 2 and clash pack 2…never mind, lol.

The U2 song pack is still unavailable for xb360. The songs are only available as singles.

Wow Ubisoft, look at you. First serve and y’all fire an ACE up the T to start off the year.

Got to admit I think this is the first time I’ve started off the year buying a pack.

So, go home at lunch to download…no song pack on Xbox 360, just individual songs. Get all 5 individually (figure it is worth $3.99 extra to play now) and open XBone to download songs
-- 3 songs install just fine, “Streets” & “Beautiful Day” asking to be paid again.

WTF ?

Already purchased this pack, but lets hope they’ve already licensed another pack for later in the year.
Their catalogue is far too big to only have one 5 pack

Sunday Bloody Sunday is the best of the lot and it’s played out.

Wow! This is a great way to start off the year… a huge band AND a bonus alternate BASS arrangement. 😮 I’m not even going to nitpick the song selection. Thank you to whoever over there at Ubisoft is responsible for showing us some bass love. It’s much appreciated! 🙂

Excellent pack! Great way to start 2017, hope it’s a sign for the rest of the year (even if 2016 was great in my opinion). Happy new year to everyone! o/

Honestly, it would have been VERY difficult for them to have made a bad first pack from them. Sure, Vertigo isn’t their greatest song, but it still should be a fun one to try and play. The other 4 songs though are pretty iconic. The Rocksmith Haters should probably enjoy their week off this time. I don’t know anyone (even those who won’t buy this pack) who can really complain about this.

And as others have said, hopefully a band as massive as U2 being on here is a sign that there’s hope for some of the other Big Bands that we’ve always been told a “Sorry, we tried” response are coming around.

Stilll a great pack though!

Thats a terrific song with an iconic opening lick! All things considered they did a pretty great job with their selections for this pack, and I hope we get a second pack in the not too distant future.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who was really hoping for that song. Probably won’t make it to a vol 2 pack, but maybe vol 3!

I would like that song mainly for the “Numb me, Drill me, Floss me, Bill me” connection.
