Rocksmith Remastered DLC 4/10/2018 – Variety Pack XIV

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Welcome to the 14th incarnation of the Variety Pack!

Revealed over the weekend was the often requested 80s hit, Your Love by The Outfield, and Seattle super group Temple of the Dog with their hit single Hunger Strike.

Today we can confirm (via Xbox AU) that the remaining singles include the long awaited addition of @PanicAtTheDisco’s I Write Sins Not Tragedies, and for those wanting something a bit twangy, the addition of Amie by Pure Prarie League may finally scratch that itch.

  1. Glad to see ubisoft so responsive to requests. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Didn’t request outfield but will pick it up as part of the pack being a tween of the 80s and looks decent to play.

  2. “I don’t mind buying DLC from the vendor of my choice”……but I do mind paying tax on DLC. Decent pack, thank’s Rocksmith. ?

  3. No issues on this pack! GREAT variety on GREAT SONGS!!! Not only great within their respected genres but great across the music realm PERIOD! Home Run In my opinion! Great stuff and Great job to the Rocksmith crew!

  4. Hopefully nobody will whine this week. I don’t know a couple of the songs and am excited about the couple I do know. Will buy the whole pack. Thanks Ubi.

    1. Boo. No hip-hop, ska, jazz, gospel, blues, flamenco, roots-reggae, or funk. There we go.
Since no one has done it yet, I had to whine about something, just to keep the yin and yang going.

Seriously though, I like this pack. Been waiting a long time for The Outfield, I’d forgotten about Hunger Strike. (while I like this song, I only knew the separate bands involved but never knew their collaborative name.) Amie is a song I’ve heard once or twice, but never knew who sang it. That sounds good too. In all, this is a very good, and enlightening pack.

hmmm….. I was a little more positive than negative. Can this still count as a whine? 🙂

        1. Ska–>rocksteady (no relation to the Whispers or Bebop)–>reggae–>dancehall and lovers-rock fits in there somewhere. There was a progression.
