  1. Hearing Crimson and Clover makes me want the Velvet Underground and Lou Reed for some reason. I can only dream.

  2. I have to be straight here. That letter by Dan this weekend helped. While Joan Jett is deserving of more respect than for just 1 song, not having that song instantly made me second guess the upcoming pack. I know that’s wrong, and even though I love I Hate Myself…(<–which I did for a second), that was my initial thought.) But, there are so many ways now to learn your favorite songs. I'm learning Maggot Brain from Jason Read on Youtube, Big Love (Fleetwood Mac) from the Heanor School, and Cream's Born Under A Bad Sign solo from Youtube. (hoping someone will upload Chill Out by John Lee Hooker soon) Anyway the point is, Rocksmith isn't the only way. Joan Jett has some good songs, so why sleep on the pack due to the one that got away. Definitely appreciate Dan giving us an inside peek and letting us know they've been trying to get I Love Rock N Roll. It's not Ubisoft. It's the artist. Definitely getting this pack.

    Two more things.
    1) As a kid I use to get Joan Jett and Chrissie Hynde mixed up. Interesting that they're both on Rocksmith now.

    2) After reading this weekend's posts, I think the masses have spoken. We're now overdue for a Weird Al pack to include, I Love Rocky Road, I'll Sue Ya, and possibly Bedrock Anthem. (probably a licensing nightmare in every case.)

  3. At this point most of us can probably learn “I love Rock and Roll” without Rocksmith’s help anyway and since we received two versions of “Bad Romance”, I can still hold out hope for the Tommy James and the Shondells version of ” Crimson and Clover” somewhere down the road. I’m glad Joan received a dlc pack.

  4. not a fan but at least its guitar-y. it makes sense as a rocksmith pack, that is a trend I could get used to
