Hello Rocksmith fans!
No clue today, as next week’s DLC was revealed on yesterday’s livestream…
Yup, @rocksmithgame will continue the Exercises DLC with Volume 02 from @StudleyGreg
The response to the first volume of Rocksmith Exercise Song Packs has been wonderful, and we’re excited to announce the second round of exercises! Releasing Tuesday, September 3rd, Rocksmith Easy Exercises, Vol. 2 will continue to offer drills for your practice regimen. As with the first volume, Vol. 2 will focus on the fundamental techniques of hammer-ons, pull-offs, string switching, string skipping, and linear playing. This time around, the finger patterns will be more varied and a bit more complex. This will allow you to gain full control and independence of your fingers and be ready for whatever song you want to play in Rocksmith!
You know the deal…

Have you been holding out for Volume 02 of these lessons? Or are these still an automatic skip week for you? Let us know, and stay tuned for the September newsletter!
More lessons, we buy rocksmith to learn not to watch fast solos on the screen while cringe.
I like these and hope they continue… But music is what keeps my interest. Can we have both?
Can Tool be revisited now that they have embraced streaming media?
Personally, i’d LOVE to see some scale exercises..Yeah.Yeah o know. Everyone HATES scale practice, But its a necessary evil..Not just the usual Maj and Min. How about a set of Pentatonics and some blues and jazz scale work ?
Next week join us for lessons volume 176 and the week after that we have a brand new artist Barney with his top 10 hit I love you, you love me.
The poll seems pretty clear on what the customers want, hopefully this ends soon.
Yes these are really getting old!!!! more songs please!!!!
Can lessons come out on Fridays same as the hints for dlc song packs that release on Tuesday? Seems like you’ve got to wait 2-3 years before a dlc gets a second pack if it isn’t Queen or Green Day. And is the game not going to have any more 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, or 2010’s dlc packs? Or did the volume of requests for those die down or something like not selling as much? Money is the fueling source for this game, but shouldn’t completely manage what DLCs should be. Could you give us a news letter of what to look forward to towards the end of the year? Please and thank you
I would not be surprised if compared to the decade packs the single artists packs did better overall; I don’t have a way to look at their data but I don’t think I ever bought an entire XXX0’s pack, even if I often get one song.
I understand why they are releasing these and I guess it’s good for future customers, but I’d rather they also release songs at the same time…maybe ones that complement the lessons.
I agree. I think there should all ways be a song pack but if they wanted to do things like these lessons or new games for the arcade (making the boring, repetitious but important practice techniques more engaging is a very good thing. Gotta beat that high score and all) or other sorts of supplemental additions in various areas for whatever reasons, they should be released in addition to the weekly song packs. Instrument expansion would be nice. Let me use my keyboard.
