Song Speculation: Rocksmith Brings Me The Horizon for 2010s Mix III

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Hope you enjoyed our trip to the late 60s last week as it’s time for another three pack of songs from the 2010’s!

Let’s check out RollingStone222’s clue for next week…

That’s a GIF! Also, those are all “Raptors”

Password: Raptors

Six pages later and we weren’t any closer…

Oh really?

OK this theory has legs…

Well I’ll be…

Good work everyone! Shame it isn’t a @bmthofficial pack though…

What else could be appearing in a 2010s Mix Pack? Your guess is as good as ours but here are some suggestions to get your brain whirring…

What follows is speculation

Practice your tremolo strumming

How about some more Indie Rock/Post-Punk Revival jams

Maybe this was the Australian clue…

Still waiting for my pack

Are you excited for @bmthofficial to finally come to Rocksmith or is this a bad start to a pack you’d most likely skip anyway? Let us know!

  1. hmmmm, I’ve never heard of this band. I like the music but the singer is really screamy. I’m sure I’ll buy the whole pack but I’m just not sure if I will be able to get over the vocals enough to enjoy learning the guitar parts.

  2. I’ve listened to a little of older Bring Me the Horizon, and this song is a departure from what I’m familiar with. Its not a bad song, but a little light on the guitar. Its too bad we couldn’t get a more guitar-focused song, but hopefully this is just the beginning of their inclusion in the game.

There are so many great bands from the last 7 years that its hard to find 2 more songs to round out this pack, but it would be cool to see Highly Suspect or Cage the Elephant. Or maybe a modern hit from an older band, like Soundgarden – Live to Rise, or David Bowie – (You Will) Set the World on Fire

    1. The goods news is that Maiden have just finished their “Book of Souls” world tour, so we might be getting some of their stuff soon

  3. Yes!!! ‘Bring me the horizon’. So looking forward to this. wait. only one song? just one? We get a full pack from a band last week who wrote music back in the 60s. But now we have a popular band within our generation with a lot of support and just one song. Makes sense. I wonder if people were requesting ‘The Monkeys’ like they were for ‘Bring me the horizon’. Hopefully we will get a pack from BMTH one day.

      1. My apologies but what do you mean by “Hopefully the BMTH fans show up to buy the songs”? Can you elaborate? That is worded in a way that makes it seem as if you are talking down on the BMTH fans. Please be careful on how you post replies. People may find them offensive and you may loose customers.

        1. The more BMTH fans that buy the song, the better. It will show how much the consumers of Rock Smith really want to play this band. But it appears the reply that was posted by Riff Repeater was not elaborate enough and can be taken out of content. Not coming at anyone, just stating it from a different perceptive. Once something has been put on the internet, it will never fully disappear. So please be more elaborate on replies so it does not get taken the wrong way. Thank you

          1. I think you should work for Rocksmith. I’ve only made a few comments in these weekly announcements and your replies are way more professional. ‘The more BMTH fans that buy the song, the better.’ would have created hope in my head of a possible pack coming out and would make me support this pack more. Rocksmith hire this woman. lol

            1. Thank you for your reply. I am not on here to cause controversy, only to simply voice my opinion. I apologies if my response is not the reply you were looking for directly nor am I coming at you or anyone else. Have a great day and I hope any replies people receive will be on a professional and not on a personal level.

        2. Well first of all this isn’t an official Rocksmith website, nor am I an employee…

Sorry you determined that from one line of text but I meant pretty much what Lena explained afterwords.

Often there is one song released by a band on Rocksmith that might be an odd choice or simply is just that, one song. Was it because it was the only song they could clear? Or was it because Ubisoft SF isn’t exactly sure how many BMTH fans play Rocksmith, or are willing to buy a song. There has been songs released for Rocksmith in the past that have been polarizing and despite fan demand have not sold as well as more “radio friendly” choices.

I for one am excited to play this song, it’s simple yet effective.

bit.ly/rsreq to get those requests in for a future full pack of @bmthofficial

    1. Hopefully this song kicks off the support for a full pack, I’ve often seen them requested on Facebook/Twitter over the years I’ve covered Rocksmith 🙂

  4. Bring me the horizon further proof that linking park was a really good band at least in comparison to this. How about Rocksmith just close the doors on this decade like it never happened

    1. If I understand your comment correctly… Are you stating to close the doors on the music of the 2010 generation? If so, people shouldn’t restrict music by the generation. Everyone likes what they like. I favor Linkin Park but Bring me the Horizon is a great group, that is my opinion. I’ve been waiting for a pack of their songs to come out since I started Rocksmith years ago. Personally, I was raised around numerous genres of music, and I hope people will not be closed-minded to other generations. Even though I will admit, I’d love to hear more of BMTH, the latest Foo Fighters songs, and more music of the 2010 generation and up. The last year I have barely purchased anything from Rocksmith because I have not been highly interested in the DLC. I understand everyone has different taste in music, and they can’t satisfy everyone. It seems that it all comes down to who is being requested and the data being received by their consumers.

        1. I just looked at all the songs released as mixed 2010s and I gotta be honest they are mediocre at best and this continues same trend. The problem with current music is the industry they push bad music on people and dont invest in real talent because it might not pay off

  5. Interesting, I like to keep coming out different groups in Rocksmith. I love this type of packs because I really like the music that has come out since 2000.

  6. Yes, finally Bring Me the Horizon! I’ve had requested this band over a month now and Rocksmith finally accepted it! Thanks Rocksmith, you made my day!

  7. Excited that BMTH is finally getting on Rocksmith, but wish it were a different song. There’s not much to “Can You Feel My Heart”
