Speculation: Rocksmith Newsletter hints at March 2020 DLC

Hello Rocksmith fans!

The newsletter for March 2020 went out today, and with it comes 2/5 hints for this month of Rocksmith DLC!

Let’s see what UbiVertigo and @UbisoftStudioSF are hinting at, shall we?

There’s a visitor at the door

Ok, this one is easy. It’s obviously pointing at another song for the Melissa Etheridge song pack!

To hell with the consequence

We hang out in public spaces

This could be a few things

Maybe a bit of stretch

In the afternoon, you’re out on the stone and grass
And I’m sleeping on the balcony after class

🚬👦

It gives me a sense of enormous well-being

Hello Wisconsin!

Less literal?

because it has loitering in the lyrics

Nailed it

We explain how synonyms work

Got nothing for this one…

What do you think @UbisoftStudioSF and @Rocksmithgame are hinting at for this month of Rocksmith DLC? Let us know!

  1. You are probably right about Melissa for the visitor at the door, but wouldnt it be beyond awesome if it referenced Let Em In by Paul McCarthey not much guitar though. While Im thinking huge and not gonna happen, how about Take It Easy for hanging out in public places the lyrics standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona fit perfectly.

  2. Dancing in the Streets is the first thing to come to my mind for public spaces. But which version. Probably not Van Halen, sadly. The original by Martha and the Vandelas.

For synonyms, that’s a pretty generic clue. Maybe Ironic by Alanis Morrisette, since she “explains” through the song.

Or, I’ll keep pushing Janis Joplin. Me and Bobby McGee. “Freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose”.
