Hello Rocksmith fans!

Let’s see what @DanAmrich and @UbisoftStudioSF are hinting at for September shall we?

a track that made the biggest jump to number one in the history of Billboard’s Hot 100.

Let’s take care of the obvious one…

Definitely fits the clue

A song to end the season

Not going to lie, I prefer this over the original completely…

What is this PatricianSMITH?

*finally remembers to request this*

We’d better get this song before 2069…

Makes me feel fine

the arrival of a King

Yes, THIS time for sure, it’s going to be King Diamond

Or yeah, it’s definitely King Crimson, 60s Mix V!

“Nah, it’s obviously a @SSPU song pack” – @BestFenton

The king left the building, but is he coming to Rocksmith?

A7X II?

???

  1. Avatar – Legend of the King / The King Welcomes You to Avatar Country / King’s Harvest / The King Wants You / The King Speaks / Statue of the King

Their entire last album was based on the King (Kungen) and this band has some of the sickest riffs in metal right now…

    I’ve requested them, plenty.

    1. I have requested a bunch of King’s X and hope we’ll eventually get at least one song of theirs, maybe Over My Head.

  2. Another month of pretty much crap in august. what 3 or 4 songs maybe and now if the song speculation for September is right we get maybe another 2 or 3 songs worth a dam. HEY ROCKSMITH AND UBISOFT take this to heart when I say F__Y__ I’m done with your CRAP.

    1. Hmm. Thinking outside the box. Okay here’s my stab at it, King-style

King of Parody – Weird Al Yankovic
Kings of Baby Making Music – Ron Isley and Ernie Isley
King of Slack Key Guitar – Gabby Pahinui
King of “How’d He Do that” – Tom Morello
King of Funk Bass – Larry Graham
King of Thai Guitarists – Sek Loso
King of Gospel – Rev. James Cleveland
King of the Talkbox – Roger Troutman
King of Country – fill in the blank for whomever holds it now
King of New York – Notorious B.I.G.
King of the West Coast – Dr. Dre
King of Pop – Michael Joseph Jackson
King Shango – Capleton (okay a little too much for y’all)
King of Slide Guitar – Elmore James
King of R&B – Luther Vandross
Modern King of Slide Guitar – Derek Trucks
King Maggot Brain (Yeah, you know I have to fit that in) – Eddie Hazel
King of the South – Jermaine Dupri
King of Bitin’ – Sean Puffy Combs
King of Saying “Baby” within the first 3 words of EVERY song – Keith Sweat
      King Hitmaker – Nile Rogers
King of Cool (or fill in the blank
      ) – Billy F. Gibbons
King of Gospel Blues – Pops Staples
King of Rock N Roll – Sir Charles Edward Anderson Berry

Other kings include – Nate Dogg, Edward Van Halen, Israel Kamakawiwo ‘ole, Prince, George Benson, Brad Paisley, Rza, Robert Johnson, Steve Vai, Garth Brooks, Buddy Holly, Willie Dixon, Teddy Riley, James Brown, George Clinton….

In case you’re wondering, yes, I have interest in every name on this list.

        1. Although I am always up for more Tom Petty he wrote “it’s good to be king” on the wildflowers album. Think it was a single. Maybe damage manual with king mob. Anything that Geordie walker plays guitar with Martin “youth” Glover, Paul raven or Jah Wobble on bass I’d instantly buy. Not a chance in hell for that though. But it would be nice.
King bee by slim harpo (love that guy), but a lot of people have covered it. Point being there are a lot of kings no matter what. We’ll just wait and see.

        1. For the most part I was trying to go with artists we haven’t seen–the reason many names were left off the list such as Bob Marley, Run DMC, and the Kings. (understood some of them do have DLC) Of course Earl could be on there along with Taj Mahal. Toots and Maytals would be a nice touch too.

Was also going to throw Doug Heffernan on there as well just to see if anyone caught it.

          1. I forgot to mention the “raven king” when i mentioned killing joke which is about Paul. Miss you mate. They also have a song kings and queens. Drowning pool has king zero. And as my point above was that leaves open a lot of options. Its really pretty vague as far as clues go. Although if they meant the true king of rock n roll we’ll have some chuck berry coming our way which would be pretty sweet.

            1. It’s fun to speculate.

I had Sir Charles on my list as well. (Berry, not Barkley. Gotta get the B’s right there).
