Yup!
MOST slayer stuff is in Eb. Their first album is in standard. Diabolus In Musica and later albums have plenty of lower tunings: C# standard, Drop B, 7-string standard (BEADGBE)… they brought back Eb tuning for some songs on Christ Illusion and World Painted Blood.
I can confirm that all five songs next week are in Eb.
Nice… that rules out most of their meh-terial. Looking forward to lots of stuff from Reign In Blood, South of Heaven and Seasons In The Abyss.

It may not sound good if you’re not into that kind of music, but you’d be surprised at the amount of vocal skill and effort that goes into screaming and growling. It’s far more complex than just outright screaming normally.
Exactly. That’s why world class Opera singers don’t growl/scream.

the games called rocksmith, not voicesmith. the guitar riffs in Slayer songs are both fun AND challenging.who cares about the singing. All those bands you mentioned were released because they’re not uptight and released their song rights & a lot of people requested them. obviously at least one of these two factors does not apply to your chosen Jazz or there probably would have been one already. And personally i suspect we’ll see a country pack LONG before a Jazz pack.
The other problem with Jazz is that at it’s core is freeform improvisation. You don’t want to be learning a Jazz piece to a 100% accuracy when it should change every time it’s played.
The set note tracking doesn’t mix with improvisation too well. Unless you tune down to Drop C and then it doesn’t matter what notes you play, Rocksmith can’t tell any more. :grinning:

Also you are combining months to suit your platform of too much metal.
I remember seeing Slayer at Ozzfest back in ’98. The band actually looked hysterical trying to be all dark and intense at an outdoor venue on a sunny day at 2 p.m. They sounded like shit, too. But, that’s just, like, my opinion.
As to diversity, I remember this family of three had a set a blanket out on the grass. It was very picturesque. Their three year old pulled down his pants and peed on the lawn right next to someone else.
Later that night, a bunch of nice gentleman lit the grass and trash on fire in five or six locations on the lawn and people danced in it, while a roving fire brigade tried to extinguish the fires. That part was all dudes.
Metal brings out the best in humanity. Maybe that’s why even Metallica said people could stick it up their ass.

I think royalty is a reference to the name of the BAND and not the ARTIST. So this is our top 40. Prince “changed his tune”, Queen is possible, QotSA is very probable, there is a band called “Royal Blood”, etc.
