Rocksmith 2014 DLC 12/22/2015 – Stone Temple Pilots

Hello Rocksmith fans!

Welcome to the final DLC of 2015!

six pack from @STPBand!!

As we hinted at previously the selection of six tracks comes from the Spotify Top 10 most listened to songs. This means there’s no Trippin’ On A Hole In A Paper Heart, there’s no Sour Girl, and there’s no Lady Picture Show, but what was included is pretty, prettty, pretty good.

Off their debut album Core (1992) Sex Type Thing, Wicked Garden, Creep, and Plush. Off Purple (1994) Interstate Love Song, and Big Empty.

All songs are in E Standard!

  1. Would have loved Trippin On Hole…, Sour Girl & Big Bang Baby
Will pick up a few of these as singles, but not the whole pack

  2. Honestly, when I saw that this was the next pack coming out, I got so excited, especially for Big Empty and Plush. Definitely one of my favorite packs so far.

  3. It’s gonna be close between motley crue and STP for best dlc of December it seems. I imagine STP will win due to it being a six pack and in E std :p

  4. If anyone is having trouble with the EbMaj7 chord in Plush… and are familiar with tabs… play this instead x01333 instead of x65333 for the chorus. It’s the same chord, the game recognizes it, and it’s much easier to get to and from the F chord that’s in the chorus as well. Years ago, when trying to learn this song, a buddy taught me this. I struggled with getting my pinky finger to move where I wanted it to. I still use it because it’s just way easier

  5. I’m a little sad. I wanted Trippin’ more than all 6 of these songs. Still, Interstate Love Song, Creep and Sex Type Thing are all worth learning. Not a bad finish to this year.

      1. The best packs, in my opinion, are the Rockabilly, 50s Pack, the Blues Packs. Those get played by me constantly.

But, then again, I haven’t yet bought this one… yet

        1. Love the Blues. Wish they’d have at least 1 blues pack every quarter if not each month.

My family and I had a lot of fun with that 50s pack. Ubisoft really spread out this year, touching on many different styles, country, funk, blues, i guess you could call it Christian, metal, pop, 80s rock etc.

Request for 2016. How about some James Brown and as always, Robert Nesta ……..

  6. I was actually a little disappointed to see that Dead And Bloated didn’t make it. But otherwise a phenomenal pack. 🙂

  7. i would have loved to see Big Bang Baby in place of either Wicked Garden (fine, but not too exciting) or Creep (just not fun to play). Plush is way more enjoyable to play than I expected. Solid pack! Keep this shit coming! 🙂

  8. This pack isn’t for me. Creep, Plush and Interstate love song are good and I may pick them up at some point but definitely don’t feel obliged to buy them. The rest don’t do anything for me. Still a good addition to Rocksmith 🙂 learned some really sweet riffs this year, Thanks Rocksmith!

  9. I wasn’t expecting dead and bloated but hoping for it. Creep could be replaced I was never a fan just slow and dull so many better songs

  10. Wouldn’t there be another pack since next week is the 29th or am I missing something? BTW one of the best packs by far. There should be six packs more often.

  11. Not bad at all. I like the choice of chords, the progressions, and the little licks he works in. I still think its gonna level up really fast though and only be challenging at the top end. Promoted from no buy to the wish list.

  12. Would have liked to see Still Remains sneak in there somehow. No harm done though. This is one of the most solid packs released in a very long time. No weak spots.

It’s in the running for DLC of the year.

  13. Love these songs, but I have to say I’m disappointed that Trippin in a Hole in a Paper Heart didn’t make the cut.

  14. My one and only wish was Big Empty!! Therefore I am happy. I remember watching that MTV awards show live and taping all the performances on my vcr! Man, those were the days…
