    1. No offense meant, but barring Harmonix’s comments about Rock Band’s discernible future, nothing was really said that has not been brought up many times before; as far as Led Zeppelin goes, the extent of their comments was basically “We’re hoping to get Led Zeppelin someday.”

The article barely even went into detail as to what factors are in the way of such a feat. Granted, it would make some sense for a company like Harmonix or Ubisoft to be less vocal about such details (possible non-disclosure agreements or the like) than other individuals might be, but I have noticed more thorough explanations/speculation on TRR and similar sites in the past when it comes to what might be holding up the likes of Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin.

  1. Rock and Roll has been around since the 50’s. 66 years of songs and this is the best they can do?

  2. Headliners:
    -Like The Angel
    -Hero of War
    -Tragedy+Time

Other Songs I’d love to see:
    -Methadone (absolutely love this song!)
    -Black Mask and Gasoline
    -To Them These Streets Belong
    -Behind Closed Doors
    -Injection

    The list goes on..

  3. lol octavezzz II, to be fair, they’re not the only ones overusing them. I made it a three pack. Paper wings looks fun. Audience of one, and help is on the way just made the cut. The other two, I’m tired of hearing, and rely to heavy on power chords in octaves.

  4. There’s no rising against the machine here though! Help is on the way – song about hurricanes. Paper wings – waiting at train stations. Ready to fall – base jumping off buildings! Audience of one – it’s about their old days before they were big when no one showed up the their show. Finally re education through labor – I think they don’t know how learning works…

I’m just messing around, I’m probably going get the pack

  5. 12 downloadable songs and not a single track off of Revolutions Per Minute. Screw you guys.

  6. Really was hoping for Hero Of War, but I’ll just learn from tabs. Overall it’s a good pack but they have so many better songs for the game than help is on the way :/ that one’s inclusion disappoints me!

  7. I’ll still get the pack, no question, but as I predicted no oldskool.
Except maybe paper wings, but nobody seems to remember that there where 2 more albums before that with enough quick, heavy, awesome songs.

I’ll quietly be waiting for the bass solo from black masks and gasoline.

  8. I love metal, but not this kind of metal. I don’t mind, I have plenty to play at the moment and many people love them, so, yeah. Cool. Now about those first packs for bands that only have one or two songs in the game… 🙂

  9. I actually first heard of Rise Against through the on-disc Saviour, really dug it, and bought the rest of the DLC and loved it. Awesome band, really pleased to play more of their stuff.

  10. Savior found its way into my top 5 favorite on disc songs. I may have to check this and the other one out.

  11. Pretty predictable choices, but certainly nothing wrong with that. Super pumped for Paper Wings. The only downside to this pack is is that it greatly decreases the chances of ever getting a pack III, since I don’t know if they have any songs left that could “headline” a pack.

  12. The softer side of Rise Against. Which are probably the harder songs to play. Great pack!

  13. This isn’t quite the heavily skewed towards their latest 3 albums pack I feared and paper wings is a very welcome addition.
    Overall pretty damn good pack.
