Hello Rocksmith fans!
With perhaps the vaguest clue towards DLC in Rocksmith history we have two returning artists and one brand new one headed to the ever expanding Rocksmith 2014 DLC library!

Yup, @SquirrellyNinja was definitely right about that, although @pcgamingisted was bang on with The Cure’s Friday I’m in Love.
@NUM852 Friday I'm in Love was tuned sharp so we couldn't do it when we first dd The Cure dlc – I'm sure we'll revisit them (eventually)

Nice work Paul, didn’t even take you a year!
What about the other two songs? Well one is a favourite Guitar Hero III DLC (as well on Guitar Hero Arcade if you are a masochist), For The Love of God by Steve Vai! This one should give those expert guitarists the challenge they need.
@VicSpaventa @naohigo @Rocksmithgame without saying no comment, erm… damn it… no comment!

Good luck with this one…
Rounding off the pack is another song from Bill Withers, although this one is far more active than the emotional and soulful Ain’t No Sunshine, it’s Lovely Day!

Are you excited for this kind of variety in a song pack? Are you aiming to master Steve Vai’s virtuoso guitar playing? Are you surprised another artist got a single after a song-pack? Or is this a giant pass? Let us know!

Still not showing on Xbox One. Any suggestions?
Same with me. Nothing up yet. Do they even want our money?
Why aren’t the songs available in XBL yet? For the love of God!
Wow 3 great songs. Good pack. This is one I’ll get.
Wow friday in love was the song i would LOVE to have ; now I have it 🙂 !
I’ll download the black keys, audioslave, or some allman brothers whipping post instead… This pack isn’t with the $8
literally no one cares
I tend to agree. I could scarcely be more ambivalent than I am this week. Sigh. Looks like plenty of people do like it though, so there’s that.
I hadn’t even played the song I bought the pack for yet (Friday I’m in love) and half way through playing “For the love of god” I’m thinking I LOVE this pack!! Thank you for making my week Rocksmith.
Any news on when the pack and not just the singles will be available on steam? Was looking forward to this pack, but wasn’t looking forward to buying the songs individually.
All good. Got it through the in game store in the end.
The link was right in the article
It’s funny – I would have bought all of them as singles. It’s a weird collection, but my tastes run sorta eclectic.
In for Bill Withers
How does another guitar game get groups like:.. Metallica, social distortion ,stevie Ray Vaughn black sabbath ,guns and roses, and Motley Crüe .. When rocksmith is a far superior game and learning tool…and we get Stevie vai.. Who hasn’t done anything .. Actually none of these groups in love songs has in at least 10 yrs..
Man, Steve Vai is amazing. Check out his solo work, work he did with David Lee Roth on his first solo albums, and more. He is probably Joe Satriani’s top student and hasn’t been on G3 tours for nothing!
Anyone who shared the stage with Frank Zappa is worth our time
I wouldn’t rule out Motley Crue, Black Sabbath, or SRV entirely. All three are quite possible for Rocksmith to license, it’s only a matter of time.
After all, we did get Bon Jovi, Jimi Hendrix, and Rage Against the Machine last year.
All licensing issues. Activision definitely paid a F ton of money to have an exclusivity clause in their contract, and Metallica have shown they’re perfectly willing to sell themselves to the highest bidder, or just chase whatever profits there are. Remember napster?
You’d be wrong about Steve Vai as he released an album in 2012, “The Story of Light”. I for one am wishing for more Steve Vai. I can basically already play For the Love of God, but I’m not surprised it was the 1st choice to make it to Rocksmith.
In for The Cure.
