Today’s Rocksmith DLC contains three singles from the 1970s!
Additionally, (as speculated in March) if you are one of those strange people that hasn’t bought Whipping Post or Jessica yet, you can now buy The Allman Brothers Band Song Pack.

This page is what we get when we search for Modest Mouse and click on Rock Hits 70s 3 (Singles)… So it’s a bad link…
Thanks!
Another one that mistakenly point here when searching for CCR’s Born on the Bayou, which it’s suppose to be in this pack Rock Hits 60s (Singles)
Correct link should be https://theriffrepeater.com/rocksmith-dlc-821-ccr-iron-butterfly-and-allman-brothers/
The CCR song felt rushed. At the same price as other songs I was hoping for more than a 4 chord strum along in truth. There seemed to be little effort made on it which is really sad for such a good song.

Can you elaborate on what you feel is "missing" ?
Yes of course, sorry.
While the 4 chords cover the song, if you take away the backing music for example and strummed the chords I would doubt anyone would know what the song was [unless you sang]. When you listen to the tune there are so many chord changes possible to fill the song a little more and give it some life, As it stands now, it's a great beginner song that will be mastered within about 10 minutes. I say this as I have not played for about 10 years and so had this song on 100% mastered in a little under 10 minutes. Compare this song to pretty much any of the other chord versions of songs available and this is in my opinion a very poor chord version that has so much room for improvement. It almost feels like the deadline for the DLC was nearing and so it was released as is and they will come back and finish it at a later stage. These are of course just my opinions but strumming F,C,G,Am off the top of my head gets a bit boring and does not warrant full price. I would definitely not of bought it if I was able to preview it first to be honest.
i agree that the song is basic and its easily mastered quickly but ill still replay it lots, for me its fun simply to play and sing along, i dont think every tune has to be complex, most of my fav's are the simple few chord strummers you can still read along the lyrics while playing, theres plenty of tunes with complex chords and face melting solos already, though a few hundred more to choose from wouldn't hurt either!
dat elison what a hunk
