Hello Rocksmith fans!
Finally @benatargiraldo return to Rocksmith after only having a single song in 2012, that’s almost 8 years with only Hit Me With Your Best Shot, to quench the thirst of Pat Benatar fans!
Over the weekend we learned that Heartbreaker (In the Heat of the Night – 1979) would be the first track revealed for the song pack. Sunday’s social media clue confirmed that the highly anticipated Hell is For Children, (Crimes of Passion – 1980) would finally appear in a music game! Today we can confirm (via Xbox NZ) that the final song is the soft rock anthem We Belong off her 1984 album Tropico.

There you have it, with three DLC’s left in 2019 we end November with a three pack from Pat Benatar! Are you happy with the choices? Or do you feel the Heartache. Let us know!
Pack is pretty good,’Hell is for Children’ is the standout – I really enjoyed that, it’s a great tune, Heartbreaker is very fast and quite technical, on the other hand ‘We Belong’ is one of the most boring tracks I’ve ever played. Even duller than Paramores ‘The Only Exception’. That said, it makes a nice change to find something is too easy for once.
why not battlefield – that’s the best? easily more fun.
Have a great shirt for you
Is licensing an issue around cost? Or different rights owner? How does their return compare to returns from spotify listens? What’s the likelihood of Rocksmith users going on to buy / listen to the band? Rocksmith turned me into a Greta Van Fleet fan. We belong might be an ‘easy’ level song – but actually the whole game’s framework makes it ‘easy’ to play along with the hard ones. (tho Satch Boogie, cliffs of dover etc are still difficult) The song isn’t fun enough for me to buy it. But I’ve bought other easy songs because they are fun (eg. Rock n Roll Queen, Jack Johnson etc). To bring it back to licensing, I would definitely buy ‘I love rock n roll’, even tho I can play it already – because of fun factor. (slightly disappointed it wasn’t on the Joan Jett pack)
I’ve never found Jack Johnson’s song to be very easy. I have a higher score on “Satch Boogie” than “Banana Pancakes”.
The trick with Pancakes is to make sure you have your eyes half closed, and your top teeth well visible, even perched on your bottom lip – helps keep the transitions in time! I find satch boogie impossible. I’ve repeated the intro on slow a million times, get up to speed, and then forget it a day after and start again.

not enough requests
Thanks for posting. I can’t believe it…. the guitar in Battlefield is like on a whole nother level than We Belong… It is a great example of awesome 80s rhythm and solo. I just can’t imagine someone requesting We Belong without also requesting Battlefield. I hope all the other Missing Persons fans are requesting Words…
Great artist and underrated lead guitarist, but why put a song “We Belong” in the pack that has literally only acoustic accents? Baffling? Other two songs great riffs
I’ve seen that happen many times before – don’t just insert songs inthe library based on online plays, but songs that are interesting to play too
It makes a great acoustic/sing-along song so I see why it was included
Great pack! Definite buy. Not complaining in the least but would have loved to see the live version with Suffer the little children intro to Hell is for children.
Instant buy. A.great pack. Looks like 2019 will end with some great packs. Keep up.the great work Rocksmith.
This is awesome! Looking forward to picking up this pack.
More!
