  1. i thought i had the most boring job in the world but bassist from coldplay gets that award. I bet he was writing novels in his head while playing bass for this band or dreaming of playing for tool which would be my daydream

  2. There’s certainly better Coldplay tracks to be had especially from a guitarists stand point, but this pack is still a win and a huge improvement over “Everescence”.

  3. One of the lamest packs so far. How about something with a new skill involved. Slide guitar. We have nothing with that. Melissa Etheridge, Joe Perry project?

    1. We do have some song that involve slide guitar : Blaze Of Glory by Bon Jovi, Pretty Nose by Soundgarden, I Won’t Back Down by Tom Petty, Last Goodbye by Jeff Buckley are the ones i’ve listed so far but there’s probably some others.

      1. I know. But you don’t get to play them as a slide guitar song. There’s no lessons, no games and no songs that are made to increase or even practice slide guitar skills.

        1. Yes you do get to play them as a slide guitar song, i do and it works perfectly and it did help me on my accuracy. Your first comment was about songs with slide guitar and i listed a few. If you want lessons and games that’s a very different thing.

  4. Great song selection. Very happy with this pack. Because of the songs, but also because with this and U2 Rocksmith is still capable to get new high profile acts to the platform.

PS: The Scientist and Clocks are from “A Rush Of Blood To The Head”

  5. If not for Brandy (yes “I Wanna Be Down”, “The Boy is Mine” that Brandy) I probably would not have thought much about Coldplay. Had not paid much attention to them. So as a casual listener, I do like Viva La Vida.
Most importantly, (contrary to my complaint a few times) it’s good to see Ubisoft adding variety to the mix so early in the year. Applause. Keep doing what you’re doing.

    1. “Adventure Of A Lifetime” is actually very fun to play and would have been a great addition to the pack in my opinion. Still a good pack, well played RS team. 😉

          1. Two different people. I was Rocksmith speculating. I believe my answer is correct, but your puzzle hasn’t been officially solved.

            1. Ooops, Vibe4, my bad. Wasn’t paying attention to the names. I would guess that your speculation is probably correct. I am curious now to see the “official” answer.

        1. not at all im talking bands with egos that you would think they are above being part of rocksmith , like jimmy pages attitude about these games sadly rocksmith to non users gets lumped in with rockband and guitar hero

          1. There are plenty of big egos in Rocksmith. (That’s covered by the “Rock…” part.) It’s not about egos (for the most part).

Led Zeppelin is notoriously stingy with licensing, it’s not specific to Rocksmith. I seriously doubt members of many bands get involved to this kind of granular degree when it comes to licensing. It’s covered by contracts and dealt with by management and the record labels. It’s just another potential revenue stream and almost nobody’s above that.

            1. i used page as an example because of what he has publicly said about these types of games , mostly of the plastic guitar brand, not just im a rockstar ego. i wish they would see it as a way to expose a new generation to their music . but as close minded as some artist are a good number of rocksmith players, at least the ones that comment tend to be(not all mind you) dont want to play anything other then the style of music they listen to daily , i know rocksmith hhas expanded my music tastes and im happier because of it.

      1. bigger bands bands wwe thought were too big and too costly to get a pack from , so maybe there is hope for a metallica zep beatles and so on that people been begging for since day one , all im saying is this seems to be a step in the right direction , more bands seem to be ok with their music being part of rocksmith
