The final DLC of September is a selection of three tracks from the 2010 era (we still in it)…
As revealed over the weekend the arrival of a King, @ElleKingMusic that is! Yes Ex’s & Oh’s (Love Stuff – 2015) is one of THREE songs this week. Later today @Rocksmithgame revealed that @TheWarOnDrugs would make their second music game appearance with Red Eyes (Lost in the Dream – 2014). Through the magic of Xbox AU, we can confirm the third song is returning artist @Coldplay, with their ONE BILLION+ viewed single off 2011’s Mylo Xyloto, it’s Paradise!
This week, there is a single alt. arrangement for Coldplay’s “Paradise”:
The main (representative) lead path is a “best of” collection of parts, including guitar, vocals, and synth.
The alt. lead path is a complete vocal arrangement, in a higher octave, and includes the guitar solo near the end of the song.
Per Note Tracker, Brian Sheu:
“For some aspects of the vocals I mimicked some of the doublestop-esque piano lines heard throughout the tune. It can be idiomatic for guitar to spice up melodies in this way as well and I thought it’d be cool to include.”

I have always played the PC version but recently added the PS4 version of RS2014 to my options. But it is Friday and still cant see this pack in the Playstation store. Am I doing something wrong or is Sony a bit slower than Steam?

Gotta say, the PS4 version of RS2014 is irritating thanks to a weird glitch that occasionally stops you scrolling through songs when you meet a locked one i.e. new releases that you haven’t purchased (a problem that seems to have existed for years without a fix) and the inability to show packs in the Store in-game.
Not sure whether these are Sony issues or Ubi issues but they need to get onto it.
Hope there’s more crap next week that I won’t spend my money on!

I’m ambivalent about Paradise, its okay, no interest in playing it but what counts against it to me is why a big act spanning a long time period gets a slot in a 2010’s pack.
The Elle King song is of no interest, but when we have a nod at something royal and we don’t get Silversun Pickups’ “The Royal We” then shame shame shame…
I quite like the War on Drugs song, will probably get it.
Oh just looked at the pole, looks like most people aren’t any happier about these choices than I am. I won’t be buyung any tracks unfortunately, I’ll pass. Who wants to start betting on next week? Thank goodness there is always more of those.

Either licensing rights have just become unbearably difficult, or we all just buy so much mediocre stuff that well, why not? I will probably get the Coldplay, just because I have gone so long without buying a song that I just need something new (and continue to buy mediocre crap).
Anyways, par for the course this year. However, does anyone know if the rumors circulating are that they are planning on dropping Led Zeppelin pack? Oh, I hope so, that would make up for the entire year!
Haha Led Zeppelin, no way that is happening. I don’t get why they don’t they just add to existing classic rock artists like the Who, Stones, Aerosmith
I’ve requested the songs I want for the many we don’t have but the doors, Hendrix, stooges/iggy pop, Tom Petty, booker t and the mg’s, muddy waters, howlin’ Wolf, ministry, sepultura, static-x and a bunch of others we have one or more song by, I’m still amazed by the list of people we don’t have Zevon, Tom waits, Django Reinhardt, dire straits, chuck berry, and about 300-500 other people. But if they already got a song with a great catalog and some of the classic songs are missing (angel and highway Chile are definitely on my top 10 missing Hendrix tracks) it shouldn’t be hard to add them to the library. Oh well
Would love to see more Stooges; Search and Destroy is one of my favorite songs to play. Tom Waits would be incredible, would be great to play some Marc Ribot lines.

Very short on sleep again but dont we have push it From static and and one random ministry or am i transposing from when i plug my keyboard into rock band 3 pro mode? My dyslexia comes out big time when I’m not sleeping. I do know I’d take more thorogood and not really not sure why we only have one a perfect circle track. There is a fairly good # of single track bands I’d like to see expanded, them crooked vultures (do we have 2? Ps. Ive done it but JPJs Zooma album has great tracks to request ), johnny winter, white zombie I think we only have one of, filter ( dose, welcome to the fold, best things, real easy pack right there), eddie chochran, i know we got that little tiny muddy waters pack but isn’t there only ine howlin’ wolf track still? I’ve made my (many, many) requests though, so I’m stopping now. Besides, definately tired enough to say something dumb.
Oh one other thing we are missing some key tracks to bands we do have as well. So a few variety packs or regular ones made to shore these up would be nice. Duncan hills coffee theme for dethklok. animal, go, daughter and some others for Pearl jam. Doesn’t remind me, gasoline, crack the whip audioslave. Mic check, guerilla radio RATM. Been away to long, like suicide, room a thousand miles wide, burden in my hand, dusty, rowing, ect soundgarden. Quiting while I’m hopfully ahead butbthat could be a very long post just for me, let alone if other people hoped on. Although in my current state of mind I admit I perhaps didn’t pick some of the best teacks to lead with in either post but point made. Hopefully
Although it’s fun, trying not to frequent this line of conversation to much. Could not resist this one though. Yeah, we only have 1 from Wolf. Kinda hurts. The highlight for me is his version of Goin’ Down Slow. Other than being too short, it is PERFECT. The song plays like you’re in a humid, dimly lit, old, smoke-filled juke joint around closing time. There is a stale scent of tobacco, sweat, cheap perfume and old wood filling the air. Very few people remain in the bar, and one of them is that man who couldn’t handle his liquor, lying face-down on the floor. Empty mugs, and bottles are scattered on various tables, the stage, and the floor. Wolf, Hubert and crew play this without care for who may be left in the bar. The song is hypnotic. I could go on describing the scene this song paints….
Would like to see Howlin’ Wolf return as well as some primarily early Taj Mahal (Have to add in Honey Bee though). And of course, I will forever continue to wave the flag for Mr. Riley. He only has 1 song too.

The War On Drugs ….yesssss. I would have preferred Under The Pressure but maybe that will come later. I can also go some Coldplay, but will pass on the other one.
Like we really needed another Coldplay song after the pack. Thank god they are retired so we dont have to endure more blandness . What happened to Arcade Fire

Besides that, these songs aren’t bad. They just don’t inspire me to pick up the guitar and play along.
Coldplay? This will have a lot of hate hahaha but I like the bass line in that song and the guitar have an interesting possibilites (the mini “solo” is very beautifull for me). By the way, not a must have, but is a good pack.
