This is the first song pack from Heart across all music games. Worth nothing that @RockBand had a week where they released both Magic Man and Crazy On You as singles. Rock Band also has What About Love as DLC, and Kick It Out on the Rock Band 4 disc.

I have to agree with CJtheMetalKid, 2019 has been really great for DLC. I’m also hoping for Magic Man and Straight On.
There are so many great Heart songs, it doesn’t always have to be “Alone” that is added to rhythm games. “Black on Black II” would be my top wishlist song to be added. “If Looks Could Kill”, “Tall, Dark Handsome Stranger”, “Desire Walks On” and “How Can I Refuse” would all be excellent additions to Rocksmith.
Heart!? Awesome! Rocksmith has been GREAT in 2019. I’m really hoping that “Straight On” is included, I love that song.
Well I’m certainly curious to see what what the other songs are. Not a big alone fan and not really the best guitar or bass song (to me and/or in my opinion at least) they could’ve picked but we’ve got 2 more tracks to go. Let’s see what we get.
Agreed, in a way. I like Alone; however, there are better songs they could have chosen. And the live version of Alone (both the one Elliot attached as well as the MTV Unplugged version) would seem to be more enjoyable to play versus the album version. Even It Up, Kick it Out, Straight On, and Heartless all would have been nice instead of Alone.
Well remember a few years back (I think anyway), when Ubi asked what you would like to see me n Rocksmith? 2 of the things I voted for was keyboards and drums. If we had that upgrade then this song would’ve made way more sense. Plus it would then be the ultimate music game (especially if I could use my real stuff still). Certainly would blow away the other two competitors (already does but across the board of course). Guitar hero live is a joke. As I understand it only has plastic guitars. I’ve never touched them ( sorry folks who grew up on that and have nostalgia for it) and rock band 4 doesn’t interest me since they completely down graded it after RB3 which had pro mode and they could’ve improved on. Oh well.
We’ve got 2 more songs coming let’s see what happens. We could be surprised either way, that’s the point of checking. And at worst, for now we always have a next week.
Ah Elliot you beat me to it. I was going to add that same live Heart – Alone (Live). Over the past few years, I’ve become seriously annoyed by all this praise for Adele. While she is a good singer, seriously Ann Wilson makes me forget Adele even exists. That whole video of Ann singing Alone is a perfect example. 2:45 into the video is one of those great goosebumps moment in music. (Listen to that with headphones on and turn the volume. Forget Adele)
One other thing. Last week we talked about whether or not to “give up” on a song. With the upcoming DLC, there’s a good chance another one is coming off that list of songs I gave.
Hope to see Even It Up and most importantly Magic Man as part of this pack. (Never gets honorable mention here too).
