Hello Rocksmith fans!
Looks like Justin, and I are going to be quite happy next week as @BrandNewRock will finally be added to the Rocksmith 2014 library!
Today @DanAmrich posted a quite interesting clue on the official forums:

F- crazy with a capital F
n – sponsored by lower case “n”
J – DJ Capital J
g – unicode for lowercase “g”
s – formula is equal to “s”
M – “M” on the Bund
f – Forte represented as a lowercase “f”
what does that mean though? It’s an imgur file name!
Anyone else remember Home Alone 2?

Very clever!
Also superimposed in the image is…

“Sic transit gloria. Maybe we’ll meet again someday, when the fighting stops.”

@DanAmrich was nice enough to confirm it’s a three pack this week, so let’s figure out what might complete the trio.

This somber yet emotionally triumphant song was surprisingly on disc for Guitar Hero 5.

Pictured are the Top 10 Brand New songs on Spotify (US). What song do you think is most likely to be included in next week’s DLC?

So ends another month of Rocksmith DLC, are you happy with the addition of Brand New to the library or is what’s to come in October looking more appealing? Let us know!

My favorite band of all time!! I request them every week. So happy right now. Lacy is an amazing writer.
Can we get a Danse macabre bachsmith cover in October for Halloween?…I’m not even going to comment on this weeks pack…
By the posts looks like Ubisoft will only get some cash from most of the guys that suck on the old Ubisoft teet… 95% of the post hate it… Lol
The ones that are disappointed are always the loudest
I don’t get this battle over genres. Is this based on the subject matter of the lyrics…because these guys sound like Rock…ergo they sound ok. I get Jazz, Rock, Funk, and even metal as stamps. I get comparisons….but it sounds to me like there are just as many genres out there now as there are bands. I don’t care what these fluff brained rock stars are saying. I stopped looking for meaning in their lyrics years ago when I learned about books.
I agree with you man, the big genres make sense but all this whining over subgenres and subsubsubgenres is just ridiculous.
Man. Everything this past month was certainly not my cup of tea. Although I never heard of this band I listened and almost fell asleep. For those who like it I am happy for you but hope next month brings something I like.
I hadn’t heard of this band before, and they don’t sound too bad, but I’ll still probably pass. Unless the charts show some surprises, it doesn’t sound like there will be enough challenge or new learning in this to justify the cost and the real estate in my already lengthy playlist. For my tastes, it has been slim pickings in the last few months, but hopefully that will change soon. I’m still holding out hope for Jazzsmith!
